- We created this video with assistance from the Early Engagement Team at MLC (Sydney) - who specialise in creating stay at work programs for individuals suffering anxiety and depression in the workplace. The Team won a Cannex award for their work in this area (which formed part of a staff member's salary continuance insurance). We wanted to share what is an important issue for anyone in the workplace.
Im proud that I’m working at age 17 but I get social anxiety I can’t stand people staring at me for a long period of time , I feel like I’m being judged and I got a stomach ache
Sorry to hear you are struggling Ely. You could try some meditation exercises in the evening at home, that will help you feel calmer during the day. I have a video called 5 Little Known Ways To Reduce Anxiety on my channel, that has some good tips too
Great Video clip! Forgive me for the intrusion, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Lammywalness Erase Depression Guide (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a good exclusive product for beating depression fast without the hard work. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my mate after many years got amazing results with it.
Same here
Same also 17 rn, its tough
THIS IS SO GOOD I'M CALLED CRAZY IN MY WORKPLACE BECUASE I'M ALWAYS ON EDGE, PEOPLE CALL ME WEIRD AND ALIENATE ME!!!! IT MAKES MY ANXIETY CRIPPLING!!!!!!!!!!! WE NEED TO SHOW THIS TO EVERYONE, I CAN'T LIVE ANYMORE 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
@Layla Forrest Praying for you.
@Layla Forrest Very Similar and you are not alone. With WFH in place I don't even know the faces of my new teammates. It just feels sick to talk to them without knowing their face. I don't even know a small tinge of their personal lives. I can't even crack a joke and be in touch with them. Personal conversation has become Zero and professional conversation has eaten that all out. No coffee breaks with a person to talk is depressing 😭😭😭
One thing for Sure "You are not alone."
Reading has been helping me tremendously.
I really recommend reading at least 10 minutes everyday, a book of interest or whatever it might be.
Same thing just started a job and I’m always scared because there’s a lot going on people always staring at me and thinking I’m crazy it’s hard to work at a place where everyone has an agenda about you
I made the mistake of thinking of my work as a place to be open and honest with my boss. I had anxiety and thought I had covid and fell ill for 4 days. To my face alone. She called me a lair suddenly went full mask off narc and now I regret being open....to her. I won't let that stop me from being honest and transparent
Sounds like you’re actually doing ok.
I just started a new job and have been dealing with anxiety since I started it. It has been a struggle because I really like my job but they demand a lot out of me so I am trying my best to find a balance
I understand. Just went through my first week at a new job that is a lot of work. I have lost sleep, broken into cold sweats and felt unworthy or like I’m going to fail. You’re not alone.
Same 😞
Thank you both for posting. I found a functional balance (unfortunately not before I experienced a mental breakdown and my first ever panic attack) and luckily I’m feeling better.
@@MeganSin So happy to hear. Maybe talk to someone about what you experienced before it happens again. I regret not doing that before.
People use to corner me in office. Because I won't lick their shoes... !!! I am a hardworker and top performer for past two years. I am going to quit this company, but they are not allowing me to leave the company. Got frustrated by toxic poltics and colleagues around me. I am facing this symptoms daily.... !!!!
Hi
The background music gave me anxiety
Helo
me too …
I became an intern and eventually get absorbed by the company, right now i have been struggling since it's my very first job, my manager is the one who trains me but treats me as if i should know everything, yells at me if i didn't know something that she asks me to do, when i had a mental breakdown i messaged our Human Resources and i told them everything that i have been going through, they eventually told me that i can do it and brush it off, hours later they posted something about paranoia in our company group chat which i know it's all about me.
It's your first job, it's normal you don't know everything. It's not okay that she yells at you. Try to talk to someone about it so you can vent about it.
I had the same while i was on my internship years ago. She yelled at me the same way if i didn't know anything and i took it personally. But you need to know it's not your fault, don't take the blame on you for not knowing everything already. It's completely normal.
What to do if im suffering from anxiety??
Sounds like you need to talk to someone. See what resources are available where you live. I hope things are going better for you since you posted this.
I’m feeling like this.
This is me right now 😢
I couldn't do it anymore i left 4 months ago. No one heard me doctor wouldn't let me have stress leave. Superiors at my work never heard me
I keep ruining things
I'm in such bad shape, too much weight put on. My brain don't work right anymore .now I can't find a job anywhere .
I'm 50 and at rock bottom
I go to bed every night with sleeping pills next to me,
But I keep waking up thinking of something else to do today to fix everything I ruined
Sorry Kathyobd I hope things are better for you now.
This ass music is giving me anxiety 💩
this is assuming my workplace values mental health. nope! they just value profits
Do we have this in the USA? 😩
More more hahhaa
Why this crazy background music for god sake
Only 20% 4 years ago
This video just seems like some HR guy put together for you to watch during your orientation process of getting hired.... not really helpful at all
