  • These are my best investment so far. I love these things. They came with hardware to mount on a round tube trailer. You may have to buy a few extra bolts if the ones they send aren’t long enough. I did. Http://www.firststringlawncare.com

      Yeah. I was out working so why not shoot a quick video??!! I like seeing other setups. That’s how I figured out what I was going to do.

      @@scottydogbigg2991 They come with everything you need. You may have to buy a few that are about an inch longer if you have round tubes like mine.

    Nice racks. I run Equipment Defender racks with combination locks. I love them. Good stuff bro.

      Yeah, I didn’t know much about either brand so I took a chance on these. Definitely convenient and they are very sturdy. I just assumed they’d come lose being jarred around all the time on the trailer, but they are as solid as the day I put them on.

    Do all your locks use the same key? Or do they have you use a key for each one?

  • @South-Texas-Drones_5801

    I was wondering about the trimmer racks since my trailer has pipe on cap as well. Good to know 👍🏽

      @WilliamsFamilyLawnCare  Před 2 lety

      Yes, everything was included. I did have to buy longer bolts for some. No big deal.

    The top rail on my trailer is round, also. Glad to see that the trimmer racks mount securely cause id like to order a set. These seem to be a little easier to install than Eqip Def.

    Why do you run your Turfmaster mowers with no belt covers on ?

    • @WilliamsFamilyLawnCare
      @WilliamsFamilyLawnCare  Před 2 lety

      I took those covers off 1 week after I got them. I wanted to see how to take them off. Once off, inside was packed with grass. I mean really packed in. Up around all the belts was no space at all and it was hard as hell to get out. Now I can blow that area out after a few lawns and don’t have to worry about it.

    I have a pipe top trailer as well. Do you think it’s possible to mount the trimmer rack on the side of the trailer?

    • @WilliamsFamilyLawnCare
      @WilliamsFamilyLawnCare  Před 2 lety

      You know, I never really thought about it. I just used the brackets that came with the racks. It has been on for a while now and has never loosened up on me. It’s as sturdy as the day I put it on.

      @@WilliamsFamilyLawnCare awesome. Even if the side mount won’t work it’s nice to see they will work on top. Green touch just came out with a black out edition so I’m excited to get them

      Yes I saw them and they are sharp as hell! I’ll have a new video up in a few weeks. We just upgraded to an enclosed trailer and I’m switching all of our racks over to it. I’m excited about getting it all set up!

  • @WildCardMMA
    @WildCardMMA Před 3 lety +1

    On the trimmer racks they give the bracket for the round tube trailer. I’m looking to do what you did and drill through the tubes to mount stuff. I have a round tube trailer I use for my equipment. You can see it in most of my vids. Good vid

    • @WilliamsFamilyLawnCare
      @WilliamsFamilyLawnCare  Před 3 lety +1

      Yeah. Just make sure everything is straight when you drill through the tube and that about it. Don’t over tighten the bolts or it will bend the tubes. My racks are still as tight as the day I put them on.

    • @WilliamsFamilyLawnCare

      No breakdowns just had the belts replaced. One didn’t get done right and a belt stretched. It came off in the field. No motor issues.

      I’m sure they work fine as well. I started with these because they match our colors perfectly. As long as they keep stuff safe I don’t care what brand they are. I’ve heard good stuff about equipment defender.
