My thoughts exactly. Even though I'm not a fan of the changes they made to this adaptation of the Sky games, at least the animation quality was superb. But the CS anime was just plain bad. In almost every conceivable way. =/
@@TitaRussellTrails I think Loewe subconsciously held back though, Joshua's words to him may also had something to do with it. I don't think Joshua to be as powerful as McBurn or someone at the Divine Level(at least not at that point in the story).
@@soralight_x It was stated that during that 1v1 fight that Loewe was a bit slower, while Joshua did break through to Loewe on the philosophy debate, so it made an opening for Joshua to exploit, while Joshua fought not to kill, but disarming him. Yes, but all accounts, Loewe is the stronger fighter, given how he is regarded to have the potential to become THE strongest swordsman of all time, according to the Steel Maiden. However, winning doesn't require strength alone. So it doesn't take away from Joshua's victory, but in fact, actually highlights how Joshua has much potential dormant within him. I am willing to bet that he will grow even stronger as time goes on that he will reach Loewe's level, if not surpass him.
@@0axis771 I agreed with you. I also believe Rean has the potential to become even stronger. He’s currently stronger than Joshua, all considering Rean’s been getting nerfed throughout the games. Despite this, look how strong he is now.
@@soralight_x Rean is definitely now at the level where he can reach great heights. I was worried that that meant that Joshua and Estelle would be left behind, but having played SC, I can safely say that Joshua and Estelle will likely keep up with Rean. Even if he does surpass them, the gap won't be too wide, I am hoping at the very least. Also, let's face it. Out of every protag, Rean's had the most "shounen" of abilities. I frankly think that being cut down a peg is good for him.
No problem. Though this one was just an OVA I think to help promote Trails in the sky 2 being localized. Though there is now a full anime being made for trails of cold steel so hopefully that works out well

@@Kernviter probably because Hamel in Japanese is pronounced with an elongated a, which is often used to indicate an r in non-japanese words or names. Like Arthur in Japanese is often turned in Aa-saa- to simulate an english pronunciation.

Ehhhh enough to show he's still outmatched but probably not too much given that Joshua bests him about 20-30 hours of game later
