Engine hard to turn
Red stop light on
Check engine light on
Broken oil suction manifold
Broken oil pump orings
Broken oil pump
Main bearing damage

36 mm oil filter socket
1/2 drive short extension
13 mm socket
1 inch wrench
15/16 socket
15/16 wrench
5/8 socket
3/8 drive impact gun
1/2 drive impact gun
2 bottle Jacks
Oil drain pan container
1/2 drive ratchet

Nice video Mr Amaya!I think the owner of the truck should go back to the shop where the previous job was done and show what happened. Maybe like you said was defective part or something else,and looks like the driver saved this engine from having a window on the side of tha block😄

What if oil pressure drops
I just replaced the oil suction tube and orings. Test drove truck and amber check engine lite came on and gave code for low oil pressure but oil pressure never dropped.
Any ideas?
hey i have a 2015 freightliner cascadia and i have oil pressure low bellow normal operation and the truck start but shut down after 30 min and i have this code SPN 100 FMI 1what can i do to fix the problem i just replace the oil pressure sensor and still have the same code

Hola Francisco!! Tengo un DD15 2009 cambiaron la bomba de aceite completa y la presión en baja ( cuando el motor está cerca de 200 de temperatura y detenido ) marca al rededor de 14 psi pero antes de cambio de la bomba en las mismas condiciones era de 25 a 30 psi pues como verás no quedó igual que antes y algunos dicen que pueden ser los metales, aquellos fueron cambiados a las 950000 millas ahora el camión tiene 1240000.
Cambiaron los sensores del nivel y temperatura del aceite y sigue igual le probaron los psi con un gauge externo y muestra lo mismo 14 psi.
Si pudieras darme una información u orientación estaré siempre agradecido.

Yes, it can do that.
So far 1.4 million miles in a DD15 that I am testing to see how long it runs.
Original engine never rebuilt.
How often you change oil and filters? What oil you recommend for DD15?

I just changed my fuel quantity control valve and now just recently have a fault code for Eng 2 SPN 157 inj metr press 16. Any idea what it could be? The engine when not warmed has trouble accelerating. Once it's at the right temp no problem
