When I was 10 in St . Louis I had a fist sized 38 lb. Meteorite with bubbling on the rounded side and rainbow golden Pyrite looking rusted area on the exploded nugget looking dimples on the rugged side , it was lost while Moving during my Parents Divorce . This episode brought back those Memories :) QC

I have what appears to be a meteorite that I found metal detecting away from any known mines or development. It displays silver spots where the darker outer layer has either chipped or worn through. Is has some light brownishness that I thought was light dirt but doesn’t wash off. However when the object is wet it gives off a smell that I cannot explain other than its a wet concrete like smell but more sharp. It does this whenever its wet but the material never errodes away.

Relatively new subscriber and I am playing catch up on some of your older videos. It is great to see some video footage from the shows that you are able to attend. There are some great looking meteorites and it is great that you were providing some commentary on the specimens versus just scanning over them.
Welcome aboard! I really try hard to just keep jabbering when I film. Kind of turning a voice recorder on and having the Mona Lisa revealed. HA!!! There is over 110hrs of educational fun stuff on my channel.

Hey on 12/29/2014 my son and I saw a fireball and reported it to AMS, it was confirmed as AMS Fireball event 3639-2014, my report is logged as 3639ag.
I lived next to the empty lot over which some debris fell so we kept looking and found many stones I've featured on my channel but many more I haven't about a month later.
I'd like to participate in one of your zoom chats to describe the experience and show some of my pieces. I'm waiting for XRF testing to confirm it but I'm pretty darn sure.
I would also gift you and the others some choice pieces if I can join the club!
I've included documentation of my claim on my channel. I'm mis-identified as seeing it from San Diego though I was in Perris California. I can't remember where I read it but it was a small fireball (they may have said est. 1400 pounds on entry???) it was not expected to produce finds on the ground but I'm here to tell you it did. ❤️

I found this in my well, and is still there in the well till this moment, the local People that dig the well couldn't continue so they left it, but i got water from a smaller part that was broken

All meteorite are magnetic?
No. Mars, Moon, and Diogenites are examples that are not magnetic among others. But, ALL stoney (Chondrites) are magnetic.

@@salmankhan-nh9yh there are cheap meteorites of all kinds: Chondrites, Irons, and some Pallasite. All attract a magnet.
Hopefully I find one that glows yet if I do where can I sale it in the usa?
