I’m guessing I misunderstood the initial question because I heard it as for the same money in which case the anthem takes the cake all day
I mean, I bought a secondhand 6700H and running it in preamp mode To a Emotiva XPA three and two Outlaw 7000X. And don’t give me wrong. It sounds great but if a good price popped up on a secondhand AVM 70 I’d hop onto it.
Well gentlemen I bought a denon avrx 4800h and the HDMI board was going on and off every 10 minutes no going back to denon after 5 weeks heos drifts to the left side Centre speaker bleeds to left surround speaker
ARC genesis alone is a massive upgrade over any denon receiver. Plus the preouts on any MRX receiver are really good. My denon 4500h couldn’t supply enough voltage on the preouts to my buckeye amp.
I never tried an anthem 😂😂😂😂. Come on man.
You manage Anthem thru the device's webpage vs an On Screen Display. It is way better and easier to use than an OSD
Auro 3d is a game changer for me that’s why i use a denon 6700 great receiver.
Former Denon owner and current Anthem owner here. The anthem was a massive upgrade. Dialog is clearer. Sounds travel MUCH better through space. I took months to set up the Denon. It was fine. It took and hour to get the Anthem to sound excellent. Exact same speakers and setup btw. Other than cost, which is an important factor, I’d suggest Anthem over Denon any day of the week.
Totally Agree with You. Anthem any day over the Denon. The speakers and sound is more defined to me.

You clearly have no idea about ARC
Please explain to me how ARC Genesis differs from what Audyssey does. From what I can tell from the user manual, it gives much less flexibility compared to Audyssey with the additional MultEQ-X app.
