    I actually think this series in these difficult times is the best thing youve ever made (tv wise). Having the family cook with you, even embarrassing you restores the soul. Would love to see the older girls more, its a little Buddy heavy , but love it!

      Jamie is a superb inspiration to learn to cook. I like what he does, I first saw him on Tele in the A&E Latinamerica, then I found him on CZcams.
      I have learned a lot from him and other chefs that he features in FoodTube. Gennaro Contaldo is my favorite, and my kids love Kerryann Mac & Cheese recipe

    Now that we are in quarantine and I actually have time to watch CZcams, I'm rediscovering my love for Jamie Oliver! He was my favorite way back in the early 2000's when he was just a kid.

    I like this type of cooking, I cook fresh every day,simple fresh food is the key.
    I find when too many ingredients are used people tend to lose interest in cooking.

    It's cool watching him transform random areas of his house into kitchens. It really changes the way you think about the mechanics of what a kitchen is. The average person thinks of a kitchen as this static space in a house that never changes. To Jamie, a kitchen is wherever he is plus some basic equipment.

    I love this. Entirely uncomplicated and simple, but effective. For me, as someone who wants to get started on CZcams (not cooking stuff), this is inspiring. I keep thinking I need better equipment, and here comes Jamie, one of the wealthiest people out there, making an effective video shot on a mobile phone.

    That type of quesadilla here in Mexico is called "sincronizada" (synchronized), it rarely is referred to as "quesadilla".
    If the filling is cheese, adobada meat (and in some places pinneaple) then it is "a gringa".
    Quesadillas only have a single tortilla, wheat flour predominates in the north.

      I guess thats why you grate them thin. Good luck trying to remove every single shred of veg... So the average person just wont bother to and would eat the whole thing. Plus, triangle shaped foods are so conducive for eating perhaps the brain goes autopilot mode and just decides to put food into the mouth without thinking whats inside

    Made this tonight for the first time. I went out and bought all the ingredients yesterday after watching your video. Normally I make quesadillas with salsa and cheese, not cheese alone, and I would never have thought to use no salsa and put in leeks but oh my goodness, that was utterly divine. 😍. I'm just eating my way through my first one and my pan is ready to make the second. Thank you for showing me a different recipe to what I normally make! 😍

    In Mexico we use Oaxaca cheese, and we only add ham. I like your way of making this recipe! but here they have the name "Sincronizadas"

      Depends where you're from Mexico. I'm also from MX, and we use queso chihuahua, basically anyone can cook a quesadilla with any type of melting cheese. We don't call them sincronisadas like you do, and we can add as many ingredients as we like, for example al pastor, asada, vegetarian etc.

    Couldn't agree more with other comments, BY FAR the best cookery programme I've ever seen, I'm someone who struggles boiling water and even I'm giving his recipes a go! Well Done to each and every one of the Oliver Family, fantastic and very successful all round effort. Stay Safe and Be Happy.
