You should always sacrifice close to midnight on a Saturday night leading into Sunday. Your very first day in Albion, Day 0, is a Sunday, so start the sacrifice a few minutes before midnight on Day 6, Day 13, Day 20, Day 27, Day 34, Day 41, Day 48, Day 55, Day 62, Day 69, Day 76, Day 83, Day 90, Day 97, Day [104], Day 111, Day 118, Day 125,... (you get it right? all those days are Saturdays!) Make sure you are sacrificing bodyguards!

Since acquiring the bow is reliant on the amount of evil points you get from a sacrifice you can also get it during the trader escort quest if you eat a moonfish and wait for the bandit to say "lights out you horrible lot" works every time

From what I have seen there is a chance to get it when you are but being +50 is 100% effective
I was lucky enough to be at the end of day 27 when I arrived at the chapel with the guy from the bandit camp, was full good, sacrificed right when he got paid at midnight, got the bow first try! Thank you, I hadn't done this in years, now I've got anniversary and I'm so happy

No I didn't see that one, frankly with the solus greatsword and skorms bow I don't know that I need to do any more weapons bs lol. I have about 20 of each augmentation too ha

xOneManLegacy I heard that there are several ways to get this but I tried several of them with no luck. This worked on my first try. I used Golden Carrots and Moonfish to get through the cycle faster too. You just have to know that for it to change over to the next day you cannot skip midnight. For example, if you use a Golden Carrot to swap over to the day before midnight it will not roll over to whatever the next day was suppose to be. Anyway great guide you have here.

I give a thumbs up, Good info just got the game played the first fable so i knew what time, but Thank you on what day.Now Since i just started i can just rush threw using the bow. Btw to the new comers Skorm's Bow is the strongest weapon in here other than The Sword you receive at the end if you choose to get it.
Also, bows are the fastest fireing ranged in the game other than a fireball and lightning

I can confirm this works, I did this on day 55 just like the description says, I waited until just before midnight when money was taken from me for the hire of the bodyguard, at that moment I spoke to the guy and got it, first go.
You know I did not think of that. I forgot that they took money from me at midnight!
Personally I've hit a +1000 bad points sacrifying the bodyguard from the Temple of Avo on my 34th day just after 11 PM

Another player here confirming the info in the video to be true! I was +65 good and sacrificed the Avo mercenary on Day 20 right at Midnight and got the bow.

From what I've read, if you're evil, you need to do it when the site is in the middle of the night section.
If you're good, right before dawn.
Obviously, the more pure you are, the more evil morality points you get.
Also, full health for your bodyguard is suggested.
According to Lionhead in there guide you should always do it at midnight. A lot of people have reported differently but I'm going to stick with what lionhead said. Thanks for sharing what you have read though.
Just did it with 1 sacrifice on Friday before Saturday in the middle of the night lmao
I seem to remember that a random person (guard, maybe) used to say "lights out, you 'horrible lot" and that was exactly when you were supposed to make the sacrifice with the Avo bodyguard. The Ago bodyguard is pure good, So most evil points, plus he's the large type....more points. I followed your guide and it didn't work. I've never had a problem getting the bow. Lionhead shouldn't go changing stuff.

I never go for the bow that much because it is so picky on the timing but started to play again lately and I always go evil and got the bow with no plans around 3am game time!

Used all these tips and multiple of 6 for day of the week is Saturday go to at midnight with any bodyguard and save like a quarter to midnight then about when u think its 30 sec to midnight sacrifice if he says your going to go far you got it if u don't reload and try again got mine 5th reload

Guys bit late to the thread, better late than never 🙃. Basically just go to your stats, then under Hero scroll down, check your day. Then make it extremely easy, just do a basic calendar. Whatever your day is, wait till Sunday 12am, if unsure on the time. On mini map is a sun dial, with another guide shows what time is. Hope this helps. Great game. Played Fable 3 before completed, but never got round to original till now. Started playing after hearing news Fable 4 & collection free on Gamepass. Stay safe everyone.
Hi i was looking at the other video witch you were talking about how you tell time. and you zoomed in how did you do that? what settings did you have that makes that possible? And can you do a video where you tell people what your settings are so they are on the same settings as you.

I zoomed in a few times, you mean making the map bigger or zooming into the clock? If you are talking about when i zoomed into the clock I did that with my editing software to give you a closer look.

Most likely they just wanted a more in-depth explanation. What you have is helpful no doubt, maybe its the idea of it being a set time. Not sure but I will try out what you have and see what happens.

I didn't see it as much of a problem because the video was just backing up the information I was talking about. People wanted to know how to do it so I could have just as well done without the video and just talked about it and it would have been just as easy to tell people how to get the bow

Hmm... didn't try this yet, but there are numerous different 'advice' on the internet on how to get the bow. Some guides claim you need to vary the time of day you commit your sacrifice based on your alignment, some guides say that you need to hit a specific second at midnight, some guides claim that you need to gain a certain amount of evil points per single sac to get it. It seems that most people giving advice on the matter don't have a clue on how this stuff works, I'll give a try on tracking the day.
It took me a few tries because my alignment was -11, but it worked after 5ish times.

Hey dude. Sorry but I am having major difficulties trying to obtain this bow. I have the exact followers as you do, and I am doing it on day 27 leading into day 28, and it never works. My allignment is -100.

19th day, 1st try, brought same guards (twinblade's camp and temple of avo) and it wasn't even close to midnight... got lucky, I guess

You don't need to have finished the game and no the time does not change depending on your alignment
Okay, I get how I can see the days and when it's saturday, but where can I see the exact time...??? You say you should do it at 11:59 PM, but where can I see the time?
It's an estimation based on the time dial. In fable TLC you could save and have the time stamp be on the save but you can't do that in the anniversary editoon
If you have even slightly positive karma (fart on the bully, do all the “good” options growing up as a kid), you can run straight to the temple of skorm, then port back to bowerstone & grab the bodyguard.
Port back to the chapel of skorm, & wait until exactly midnight (the bodyguard will get paid and you will see money deducted from your coin purse) then immediately sacrifice him, 90% of the time this gets you the bow on your first try, I think it has something to do with neutral/ok karma & wanting to “push” you in the direction of evil.
I was full good with a halo and it still gave me the skorm's bow on the first try.
regular fable1 though, mercenary from twinblade's camp, sacrificed at midnight on the 20th day.
@@lawlestest Yeah, very high/max purity gets the bow much more easily than “evil” characters, presumably because the god likes corrupting heroes.

I did the moon fish and set a timer. Through trial and error at 5min 35 sec i got skorns bow

So there seems to be a glitch where if you have your evil maxed out even if you perform the sacrifice correctly and the guy says that you will be gifted evil in its purest it'll only give you plus two evil and no items just thought I'd let people know because I was trying to make the perfect starter character and I realized this while trying to obtain the bow with a character that I've been leveling by murdering guards.

Does you always have to use Bodyguards or works fine with any follower?
Bodyguards are just more reliable because they have more health and I think that it's just evil to pay someone to follow you just so you kill them

you might be mistaken, i brought a bodyguard on the 11'th day and got the bow on the first try
I am just demonstrating a method that was given to us by lionhead. It is possible to get it randomly but not as common
I actually got it why I was escorting the trader through dark wood … randomly. So it does matter who you sacrifice, as long as the time in right (midnight) and there full health . At least imo
So you have 2-3 factors, it uses eight percentage based system. The more evil, you are the higher, the probability, there’s a few types of people you can sacrifice that increases the probability, and the time increases the probability. My tutorial just adds all three of those together to try to get rid of all of the random chance.
After getting the bow in the first Fable then in the Lost Chapters and now the anniversary, this was the "fastest" way to obtain it. I say "fastest" because in my case I needed to wait like 2 hours just to get to a Saturday. Thanks!
So is it bad if you just kill the guy's? I know you won't be able to get the bow but, can you finish the quest without having to sacrifice?
I believe they will despair after like a week or so. You have to sacrifice to get this done and over with, trust me if there was another way I'd explain that one too
Ok, I just did it slightly after 12 am, 84 evil points on me already, and sacrificed the twinblade guard for 533 points. Got bow. I think it takes less points to get the bow if you're evil already.

Roman Pena You need to go do some good deeds first. See, whether you get the bow or not is based off how many evil points are obtained. If you are completely evil, you can't get any more evil points.

So I'm on day 75. Do I sacrifice him before or after day 76?
You’ll learn r to progress into day 76 (saterday) and sacrifice when right at midnight. You’ll know when it is midnight when the divider line between day and night is flat and you should pay your bodyguard around this time. Make sure to save sometime before midnight to give yourself more chances
I was Supremely lucky. During the Trader Escort quest, I only gave the injured trader to Skorm and got the bow on my first try!
Doesn't seem like the specific day is important. I picked the game up again yesterday, and arrived with my two mates on day five. Had a full day of waiting, and got impatient, so I sacrificed one and got the bow. The followers also aren't important, doesn't matter which ones you take. Meaning you can get the bow before Twinblade's camp. The only drawback is that you'll be killing off the Oakvale follower. I never use them, but the Oakvale follower is extremely likeable, and killing him hurts.
Kristian Brandt I’m just going off what information lionhead devs gave me. It is possible to get it in a number of ways but this was just the way that took everything into account to guarantee it will give it to you. :)

Yo I got the bow on day 20 first try with twinblades camp and oakvale body guards so I don't think the Sunday thing applies but I did it at midnight
It isn’t 100% required to get the bow but is listed by developers to be a condition that can get you the most required to get the bow. It means that it can be the deciding factor weather you get 90+ at 12am or 150+ at 12am ( points are estimates )
Also day 20 is a Sunday. Like I said in the description. So did you get it 20 at 12am? Or do you mean 21 at 12am

First time ever I get this bow the last time I played fable was years ago when I had the vanilla version (before lost chapters) way back in the day. It's a whole different game I just finished the bordello quest and I'm heading to the prison to save the heroes mom.
