    Frusni vs picasso tab?

  • @kreazea
    @kreazea Před 2 lety +1

    soooo... from what i'm seeing here and with further research, this is a sister tablet to the Simbans PicassoTab. The packaging is the same, the font is the same, the only difference is the color of the package. The Simbans has a green package while this one has a red package (same simple design). I've had my simbans tab for about 3 years now and have been happy with it, but it's starting to give way. I was thinking of getting another one, but decided to see if there are any others out there that might be cheaper or around the same price range, and i came across this video. if it's anything like the Simbans, then i may consider getting this one.

    • @saigamiproject
      @saigamiproject  Před 2 lety

      Yes, it is very much like the Simbans Tab but a newer, upgraded version! My Simbans got laggy after a while so compared to that the Rubens tab is much snappier. The pen I think is exactly the same, except this one is black which is a nice design choice imo. It also feels more modern, charging with a USB C and has a sleeker design. If you liked your Simbans, I can definitely recommend this one to replace it! :)

    • @kreazea
      @kreazea Před 2 lety

      @@saigamiproject ah, ok. considering you also had a Simbans gives me even more reason to get one of these. My Simbans no longer stays on when in use. its fully charged, but i need to have it constantly on charge in order to use it, which defeats the purpose of the reason i bought it.

    • @saigamiproject
      @saigamiproject  Před 2 lety +1

      Thank you for using my link! I hope you'll enjoy the tablet! :) As for free software I think Infinite Painter and Krita are both great choices! Painter is very similar to ProCreate, so it's ideal for colored artworks and sketching alike with a really intuitive drawing experience, while Krita is closer to the Photoshop/CSP experience, and had a plenty of tutorials online.

      @@saigamiproject oh okay thank you! That was the quickest reply I've ever gotten from a CZcamsr before. I'll be sure to check them out once the tablet comes in. I've always wanted to learn how to photoshop the art I made so maybe Krita will be the way to go for me

    I am looking for a standalone tablet that will work towards what I'm trying to accomplish and draw I do a lot of superheroes and I need something that has great pressure point and this will be my first purchase I have an iPad but I did not work out the way I want it so any advice you could give me I would definitely appreciate it

    • @saigamiproject
      @saigamiproject  Před rokem

      While this is a great budget tablet, I'm afraid when it comes to pressure it won't perform better than the Ipad and the Apple pencil. Of course, it depends which generation of Ipad you've been trying to use. Some of the older models might not be the best for drawing. This one is nice and sturdy so if you're looking for something that would be mostly for practice inking it could be a worth investment, just know that the pressure levels and pen accuracy are not as refined as the Apple Pencil.
      There's also the Galaxy tablets that work with various EMR pens, I personally really like to ink on my Galaxy TabS7+ with a Wacom One pen.

    • @saigamiproject
      @saigamiproject  Před rokem

      It's pretty simple and straightforward, like there's only one way you can slide it in so you shouldn't need any guidance for it. :)

  • @yalibethlosadacosme6330

    Question, i just got this and the pen wont really work, ive been trying for hours even changed the battery, nothing, i tried to search up the solution and all i got is this video

    • @saigamiproject
      @saigamiproject  Před rokem

      I'm not sure what the issue could be. My first guess would be the battery in the pen itself, I'd try to swap those out for a brand new one. Restarting the tablet and checking out different apps for the pen to see if it's an app-specific issue or if there's a larger scale problem can help too.
      If nothing works, I'd contact the company for troubleshooting or a replacement. I hope it gets resolved!

    Great tablet but I use a very cheap one without screen

    • @saigamiproject
      @saigamiproject  Před 2 lety +5

      Many artists prefer those tablets, or stick with them due to their price. I used to work with non-display tablets, too, for years but I always struggled with the hand-eye coordination, so for me it was necessary to switch to a device where I draw on the screen. Different artist have different preferences and you should work with whatever works best for you! :)

    • @saigamiproject
      @saigamiproject  Před rokem

      This is a standalone tablet (think of it as an iPad), so you can't connect it like a drawing display to a pc. You can, however, use Bluetooth to transfer files between devices if that's what you're looking for.
      The software I'm using is Clip Studio Paint.
