Vault Hunters is a Minecraft Modpack, Vault Hunters 1.18 is for Minecraft 1.18. It aims to bring an RPG element to the game and aims to be a longevity modpack with lots of content.

there aren't more items with soul value, but the soul value of some items has increased
do you know the name of the 1.18 version on Curseforge? i dont have the version 3 update
That change of the ores POI is amazing! Allows you to be more excited when you see it because you can see the good ores better and then you just mine the vault stone and when it done there are no more ores. So much more clear and exciting!!
I think the chromatic rooms are a good reply to people who complained about everything looking the same. Love to see more unique common rooms!
I see they also hotfixed a crash with the vault altars recently.
It's always nice to see these things get fixed quickly.

Maybe a good idea but with the feature of seeing where you can find a vault item you may want to order them in most common in that chest or crate to least common.
Agreed. We all kinda know the rarity of the things in that list from watching Iskall’s series so it’s intuitive for us, but new players may be constantly looking in gilded chests even though an item might have like a 0.5% chance to appear in them but a 50% chance in a boss crate (example only, I don’t know anything that’s like this)
I am really impressed with the attention you are able to give Sky Vaults alongside the base game. Both the chromatic rooms and capping raw vault experience are nice additions for early game.

one note about skyvaults, deaths on a single layer of bottom slabs puts your body on the bottom of the world, which can be highly inconvenient early game (before you have your first bucket). the death marker and body location in this situation separate by roughly a couple hundred blocks vertically, which is also beyond default render distance for the body.
If you fall into the void and die, you should know that you fell into the void and died. I'm not understanding what you are trying to say here.

I have never ever played modded Minecraft. That present shield alone may be the thing that pushes me over that line. 🎁
Thank you!!!! for adding chromatic ore to raw vault rooms. Granted, I’m a very timid player and bad at killing mobs and I die a lot, but I haven’t been able to find enough chromatic nuggets to make a regular vault alter in sky vault. I’ve had just eight nuggets for hours of gameplay. I’m super excited to play after the new update comes out.
It is nice to see some help given to players like yourself. Most of the changes are based on the SMP players that play 8+ hours a day, which kills any chance of progression for casual players.

I keep meaning to get on discord and ask about this. Animals in sky vaults. I had a recipe for a vault crystal to collect 20 rabbit meat. Near impossible and it was early. Maybe find a way to add animals in vaults or more common eggs in vault runs because I ran 15 straight vaults looking for living chest and eggs and didn't even roll a rabbit. I got a polar bear, and a squid... So my inventory lagged and I found 20 rabbits Lol. Sky vaults is so fun and it's what my computer can handle at high settings. It's an amazing game mode!

Also I would like to suggest the 'Easy Villagers' 'Trader' not be locked behind research as it prevents sooooo much lag.
The entire mod should be available without research imo and crafting made easy as most people on the server I'm on just skip it since it doesn't add anything, just simplifies a process.
You don't really need that many villagers in vault hunters since most of the vanilla enchants don't work on vault gear/items

@@dmax1997 Its not about how many you need, if you have 10 groups on a server thats 60 villagers, before the mass stick traders or the wool traders or the block traders, clerics, cartographers etc...the amount can quickly add up.

Cool updates can’t wait to see how they affect progression and upgrades, love this series and your cod series but more manageable to watch this series than the vods, spent all last week watching them after work and didn’t get crap done

Would Love to see Vault Bows and a Ranger spec that adds Rapid Fire and Multishot to regular bows, but with the downside of taking more armor damage.
Has been confirmed multiple times that "vault javelins" are coming next year
you should make it so the fizzle spawners are the more common one, at least in the early levels, so its easier for players starting out, then as your level goes up, so does chances of the normal permaspawner going up. Maybe near the max level, the vaults have a chance to have unbreakable spawners show up

You should ask tango if you can make a incredibly rare vault that just uses decked out as the entire vault
This update is awesome!!! I don’t know about vault gear in the soul shard shop though, I’ve always used the shop to buy rare items and vault gear simply takes up an extra slot that could hold something very valuable without having to gamble. That said, I’m sure I’ll be buying gear from it like a madman anyway XD
This is something you mentioned in last video. But with the change to be able to use any color of wool or leaves etc. for the vaulter. You should create an option to toggle that, because I personally loved needing farms and things for every unique item :)
You will still need unique farms after lvl 50 from what i remember iskall saying on a stream.

Interesting note I noticed in your stream you had a hard time finding chromatic iron veins.... it spawns on the corners of 4 chunks so if you mine the chunk border you have the best success
Hi iskall love your vault hunters videos I recently started playing myself but ever since I updated to the latest version my world crashes the instance I get on. The crash report says that it is because of the vault alter is the next update supposed to fix it.

Could you make some splash potions work in vaults but not the health potion, I find speed potions particularly useful and the without the ability to quickly use them it somewhat defeats the point
I haven’t played vault hunters for long but this is an amazing mod pack
I checked out this modpack and it contains some mods I like to use religiously like AE2, Xeros. The concept is excellent! The trouble is I won't play anything without shaders. I believe giving the player more options is good even if it's like shooting yourself in the foot. Installed and un-installed.
For some reason, I just knew for over an hour you would release a video today.
I wish that instead of completely removing splash potions from vaults they just had a cooldown like ender pearls do, though probably it'd be best if the cooldown was a lot longer, somewhere along the lines of 5-10 seconds

@@MrScorpion132 you can literally bring hundreds of potions if you want to
think that's a bit unnecessary, there are two heal specific things to use, the drinking potion and the heal ability. Having two of one thing seems like enough, like enderpearls have the dash ability to mirror it with mana cost. Something additional seems unnecessary

I WAS HOPING YOU'D DO FAIRLY LIGHTS. Last I checked that mod hadn't been updated since 1.16, but I had hopes in the VH team and they did it!
I think for the splash potions, you could make a throwing animation for it, with the same duration, or maybe a little quicker than drinking a normal potion instead of disallowing them in dungeons

Having that new room that spawns vault rocks is very thoughtful idea. Another amazing change is the ores POI, really happy about my inventory not being spammed by vanilla ores.

Or maybe, rather banning Splash Potions entirely, give it a cooldown instead, like how you would throw an Ender Pearl, so that it avoids being spammed
Use Normal Potions if you want to be able to continuously heal with no cooldown but have to suffer through the drinking animation
Or Use Splash Potions to have a quick instant heal if you are in a tough situation, but then you'd have to wait for the cooldown to be able to throw again.
Maybe this could open up more flexibility with potion usage instead of just sticking to one type of potion throughout your gameplay. Use Splash Potions for a quick heal, and then Use Normal Potions throughout the battle after you're far away. This will be more prevalent in the late game where fights lasts longer and enemies become tougher.
A Bounty Hunter archetype would be so cool Iskall, for example multiplying bounty rewards or reducing the requirements a bit :D

Gosh i really love this new vault hunters modpack, iskall u and ur team really outdone urselves with this pack and I think that this is the best minecraft modpack of all time maybe even its own game as it changes minecraft from a sandbox game into an rpg rouguelike game and also makes modded minecraft very diffirent and fun as they are locked behind knowledge which makes unlocking and using them a lot more fun rather than just having the mods
I really enjoy the new themes and that the rooms actually have a pallet unlike 1.16 cuz it lookes way better this way and i think its way easier to track back ur rooms, some people might have a diffirent experience but i have adhd and super short term memory so having diffirent pallets for each room makes my brain go overload and overstimulated and having mobs everywhere made it even worse but now its really calming and i really enjoy ur vods and playing the modpack
I just add some resourcepacks, fast leaf decay cuz im very impatient and the rubidududum mod for myself cuz i enjoy it this way, i hope it doesnt bother u much that i change ur game but its small and little changes and dont change the pack very much and im really liking the new features and little buffs u r implementing every week and the nerfs feel very deserved
I know the pack isnt finished yet and there are lots of hidden stuff that we have to find out for ourselves and that makes it even more interesting
All and all love the game and am really excited to see what is next to this

The sky vaults change is great, I'm level 14 but I probably got like 8 or 9 of those levels in sky vaults so I'm way behind in gear and loot for my level
Do you think you can make an artifact storage so I know where I put them? 😊
Hey iskall, weirdly unobtanium recepie is:-
4 ingots > 1 block
1 block > 5 ingots
So is it intentional that a player can simply multiply his unobtanium to infinite amount or just a mistake?
Also, just played a vault. The Xmas theme is PAG 🤩🤩. The new mobs gummy bear and cookie man, and those new custom sounds and voices, just loving it.
I am so happy i got an omega pog from a mystery box. What a lovely early Xmas present.

Also it would be nice to have a reroll for catalysts.

since u removed splash potions maybe make a talent or stat boosts on armour that increases drinking speed to where you can drink potions way faster towards later game!

Okay but am I able to go into the nether now? Did they fix the constant game stuttering me and others are experiencing in the current version? I haven't played in a week because the last update made the game so buggy it was just not worth even attempting to run a vault.
Sky vaults not generating terrain in the beyond is kinda a bummer. I know it tracks with the theme, but my daughter wasnt a fan of the sky block challenge and was excited when we realized she could escape the island. I on the other hand love sky block and it's challenges.
The chest breaking bugfix is great. I thought it was intended, but it seems not 😂
can you make gamrule keepinventory work with beginers grace/afterlife, like you keep what you get in the vault even when you die, it would great for people(including me)who hates losing what we loot to not lose what we get in the vault.
NOOOO! The whole purpose of VH is to know when to risk your reward! You should NEVER get to keep the things you find in a vault if you died! If you don't want to lose your loot, GET OUT OF THE VAULT!!!
@@JacksonOwex the whole purpose of keep inventory is to NOT LOSE WHATS IN YOUR INVENTORY and thats why it should work. plus keep inventory is a gamerule you to opt in for it to work. and their are many bugs that just kill you in the vault in some way or an other. this would help make those bugs more tolerable and make people less mad when it happens.

How about you make the mechanic with splash potion, to give the player a max number of potions to drink/use at a time, if it's more than you could use, you get poisend kinda like with "the Witcher" if you use to many potions
Is there a way to keep your key binds when updating? Whenever I update it deleted mine
