For the Father’s Day video, Owen Farrell should have done one at the end for his dad as a joke
Itoje singing fields of athenry got Irish fans smiling at their phone
Sean o'brien was not impressed.. I have to say, neither was I. I wouldn't go copying a hacka, or singing swing low for that matter
@@liammurrayful It's The British and Irish Lions mate. They sing songs from each country because they are not representing any of those countries but all of them.
And long may it continue.
@@liammurrayful thats literally the point of the lions. They're a combination of all four nations and their rugby culture and heritage
@@liammurrayful something tells me itojes ancestors didn’t have much to do with the famine m8
@@SB-uo9to no need for that fella
“I need to get a kid.” - Maro Itoje
The music does not need to drown out every other sound btw
14:09 😂🤣😂🤣 gets me every time, the old boy sat on his arse oblivious to what just happened.
Return flights to New Zealand £3000
Tickets to the 3rd final test £1000
3* Hotel in Christchurch £650
Official supporters Jersey £80
Missing one of the greatest ever Lions tries: PRICELESS
Looks like all the cheering woke him up from a nap!! Well spotted chap.
That Haka at the start, th Lions were thinking "I didn't know we could bring weapons, damn"
Sean o Brien is surprisingly lean for his size, fair play
You have to love the Lions
Do you?
Joe Marler 😂
Love him, and I'm a Scot
I’m Welsh 🏴 and your so right gotta love the guy 👍
fields of athenry never fails to get me emotional
Bring on S.A. this summer. Can't wait. LIONS LIONS LIONS.
O'Brien can replace Cavill as the current Superman - that was a great wind up! Thanks op - great vid.
Alwyn Jones cheerful as always
Liam williams tackle on barrett and John davies' chase down of Laumape is my favourite moment of the tour
Itoje wellying out Fields is brilliant!!!
Good luck coming up with one of these for the 2021 tour
goosebumps watching the haka. loved the team tries too
Can you imagine football players of any status or level singing a song, arms locked, like that? Nah I didn't think so either. And THAT is what makes rugby unlike any other sport in the WOrld, but especially football!
Who said it was anything like football?
This properly cheered my thersday evening up. 👍👍🤙🤙
Great together 🙏
What a clear out by hask
@2:53 How did the guy next to Itoje change his shirt so quickly?
Thank you, that was awesome....Beats the Japanese try against South Africa.
Is anyone still watching
I hope they don't go ahead with the SA tour. Can you imagine a tour when the hosts are unfit and rusty and with no crowds in the stadium? I would rather they postpone it until we can see a tour worthy of the two teams that will be playing.
Agreed 🤝
That's what everyone was saying before the Rugby World Cup Final mate! You coming to play the World Champions and we are fit and big and ready! We are the Springboks and we cant wait!
This haka makes me think of The Sharks vs The Jets in Westside Story.
Can someone explain the arrest to my dumb ass please?! I'm presuming that it was a gag of some sort and he didn't actually try to give the police the slip lmaooo
When he was next to the window, he was hanging out the back of the car.
NZ crowd booing Farrell. Piss poor.
They basically boo everything that isnt a home team including the visiting super sides.
What happened to Sean O'Brian? I swear he just disappeared
He was always plagued by injury, and shortly after this got a career ending injury. The timing worked out well for him on this tour
@@TheIrishYoshi fair enough, thats a shame he is a quality player.
He plays for London Irish lol
sad number 1
Would love to know if the lions knew the background to fields of athenry
Why wouldn't they? I do and I would sing it.
They don't mind singing it
It's not really rebellious.
@@ianmarsden1130 In Ireland, the more the merrier. In fact if your British and know the lyrics, big praise your way. I almost got emotional watching those brits belt out a song of irish hardship and struggle. Its a good song. One that inspires pride and motivation. The more its message is heard the better. No time for this "If your not irish dont sing it". Sing away and get a good heart pint into ye be grand
Foxy really is a great rugby player. That's Jonathon Davies.
Why not call it JD from the get go? I mean, if you're gonna have to clarify who it is... just saying
Interesting to see British players sing the fields of athenry
i mean, they are the Lions afterall
Why would the Scots & Welsh object to singing Fields of Athenry?
No 2 ways about it, Dale's gone off the boil. Maybe it's all the shit that comes his way from media.
Now they must try and face us, the South Africans😈
Was hoping for a bit more rugby tbh
It's also about the touring spirit.
At 0:10 why is that Irish fella doing the haka?
He is James Lowe and now is irish through residency
First
do you want to be my first lady?
Half of these clips aren’t even the matches
Dont why we put up with the hala too agressive i think
Warriors? We checked our kit, cleaned our weapons and went over the plan in minute detail all the while knowing that some of us might die, these are athletes not warriors.
One of these days it will finally dawn on New Zealanders that the Haka looks like nothing so much as the pained antics of a gang of constipated gibbons.
Calm down.
It's Been around for centuries, it's an old war tradition, calm down mate
Embarrassing
Sorry to say mate it has sort of become part of rugby culture at this point and is always a joy to see!
A fine british tradition. Since the 1880s. Out of date ? No way. The Woke do-gooders would love to get rid of the B&I Lions tours. Never.
Very out of date to refer to it as a British tradition though.
@@stephendeane7509 British in the geographical sense. Rugby's a sport, nothing to do with politics.
Why would woke do gooder want to get rid of the Lions tour?
@@ahlads They would see it as some irrelevant leftover of a cruel colonial past. They're always accentuating the negative.
@@susannamarker2582 I think you're overthinking a bit too much.
