  • The best portable red light therapy device from Joovv can be used at home to help your muscles recover faster after workouts. These red and near-infrared light devices offer a recovery method which iv'e found to be more effective than other protocols like ice baths and compression gear. Since my first Joovv review more than 1 year ago, iv'e continued to use Joovv's products as my go to recovery tools. However, the new Joovv Go 2.0 changes the game completely with all its new features like recovery +, ambient light and smart alarm modes. Check out these devices through the links below.

Trust pilot says it all on JOOV. They always break and charge $300 each time. Also, search the flickering rate.

My primary question here is, how much red light does this actually produce when compared to sunlight at (solar) noon? The sun produces an enormous amount of white light, and so this means it also produces an enormous amount of red light, and so the question here is does this device actually outperform the sun, or is it simply a substitute for conditions underwhich the sun isn't available, and when throughout the year should you actually start using it?
Avoiding getting sun burnt should actually be much easier while outside, because you can run or jump or simply sit in wide open places, and the wind will cool down your skin. You can also literally just spray a bit of water on your body, and that'll cool you down even faster. -- I love the idea of using a light as a wakeup alarm, although my personal daytime tracking schedule involves waking up with the sunrise and falling asleep with the sunset, which so far has been highly effective. -- The portability seems admirable, but again the sun is everywhere, and so I can just remove my shirt and shoes, go for a run, regardless of where I am or what I'm doing.
Now this isn't to say that my country doesn't have a winter, I actually do live in Canada and so I can see the benefit of such a thing in winter, but without knowing the amount of light this device actually produces, it is pretty hard to know when throughout the year you should start using it, and it becomes even more of a bargan once you consider that it doesn't produce all the light your body needs. I would rather have a device which produces all light waves, especially because the lack of vitamin D3 and the lack of blue light exposure, during the winter.
I'm also questioning the effective range of this devide, considering it only needs a few watts of energy, the distance at which you can actually stand from the lighting elements can't be that great. (inverse-square law) I honestly can't be bothered to do the math, and looking at the website has me picking my nose as to what the relative performance of the device actually is, which isn't saying much considering the price tag of $600.

I lay under the biggest one that EndAllDisease sales for 20 minutes a day with my nose almost touching it and have not experienced any adverse reactions.
No feeling too hot nor skin irritation

Hello, thank you so much for these videos, I am benefiting so much... my question is, is this type of red light therapy the same as that of the red light laser that is used in physical therapy to treat, for example, edemas in the bones?

I always thought the red lights were a scam like crystals. I'm still very skeptical in the mechanism mitochondria would use to convert light to atp, even indirectly. I'm pretty sure human cells do not have this physiology, hence krebs cycle

Im confused, what is the difference between these LEDS and putting a hot water bottle on your skin. The hot water bottle must emit loads of IR as seen in an IR camera, And they are $2

Light therapy uses "cold" red, deep red or near infrared light. A hot water bottle just produces heat. They're very different.
