PLEASE DON'T SEND ANYTHING IN TO THE CHANNEL, FOR THE TIME BEING AS I HAVE A LOT OF MAIL TO PROCESS. But rest assured, I'll be sure to announce when it's okay to send stuff in, once again. And I'll update all Mailbox Monday videos accordingly.
Thank you!

👍Great vid Will, interesting to see a loco from someone other than Hornby/Bachmann, and the smooth running...almost silent! Also - PAGING WILL - the end card elements aren't showing, you may not have set them (I always forget to!) 🚂
Yes i dont evan know of this brand
great video intercity82 :)
i just love the history you give with each model ;; sweet look at the loca,
Great video! Glad you are back
What a Lovely Loco, awesome Video @IC82 :)
One of the nicest looking locos I have seen will review absolutely awesome :)
Great review Will, that steam Loco looks beautiful
What a fantastic looking loco!
Hornby make one too I believe, if you get the oxford rail or the Hornby version get it in LSWR green. It is a beautiful color that suits it very well
Great video loved it
Radial tank = the axles can slide horizontally within the bogie frame to compensate for tight curves. Similar technology was used on various tramcars.
Great loco 🚂🚂🚂🚂 i love locos like this 🚂🚂🚂🚂
Love oxford rail, got 488 in as preserved livery, such a nice runner!
Great video
My favorite loco so far
Still loving your vids will. My parents are in London right now. Shamefully I could not go....
OMG this engine is amazing I have ordered this and waiting for it
I wish my DCC locos ran with such good speed, smoothness and silence (apart from the wheel/rail contact - which is all you want). So! Guagemaster,, Oxford Rail, and DC...perfect. Thanks.
Love it
Fantastic review Will, i really do think the Adams Radials really do look smart in black
Beautiful model......
I like these time indexes!
I love it! Great the thumbnail looks it looks so beutiful
I was expecting the loco to fail at performance because of their poor Oxford Rail motors, but I’m honestly impressed!
Did Oxford Rail every fix the rear axle problem?
Yes, the unsprung axle issue? Fixed??
Great review. I have a Hornby Adams Radial. Try one of these. The rear wheels do rotate on this.
hey Will awesome video i heard quite alot on the Oxford adams tank tried buying one a few years ago but got a hornby one for near half the price would be quite interesting to see a comparison video between brands that make the same locos anyhow hope you stay safe and keep well mate
That must be the most beautiful tank engine i have ever seen that gives me another reason to vistit the uk 😆
*still mesmerized by the beauty of this loco*
Oh, by the way, how much did this loco cost again? I also want one
Nice
Amazing.
Will, cill can you do a video of the numbering thing. As in 9f, 4p, A1.
What classification they are, what weight they could tow and so on.
Many thanks,
Mag.
Ill be going to england next week!
Ill be going to the national railway museum in york!
And after that ill be on a 12 hour steam locomotive ride from manchester->carlile->machester!
I am so exited! :D
Great video I'm sceptical to get one because of the rear axle not being sprung
Well what about your old layout? Loved that very much specially those express plates!!
Cool
I had an oxford rail Adams tank. It was garbage working on Dcc even after sending it back and getting another. Nice die cast body however! Although I would go with the Hornby one over the oxford rail.
I have the Oxford Rail Adams Radial and its one of my best runners, love the loco with no issues.
WOW WELCKE BACK WILL I MISSED U
What sort of cables can connect the controller to the track
I can’t seem to find any
This model train in real life version was built in 1961
Hi will. Great video. How much was that controller your using and what model is it? Also could you tell me the price of the loco please? Many thanks... Archie
Hell yeah radial tank
Im getting that train! 😱😁
2:19 It's Callum's video! :D
I have the three BR livery models; all are good, quiet runners with nicely geared motors. The only one which gave me any trouble is 30583 (preserved on the Bluebell but out of service), with the smaller diameter radial axle wheels. It is VERY sensitive to uneven track, so unless yours is perfectly flat it'll stall on any slight unevenness and spin its wheels.
Andrew Guttry it was the front bogie not having enough up/down movement that caused the issues on uneven track
Yes! Brain fart on my part. Apologies.
Hi will, there’s a problem with this engine, the rear bogie makes it so that it can’t go up hills or a gradient
It’s coming home
I have had mine for over a year and it has been in the work shop more times then I can remember it has so many problems and servicing it is a nightmare the back bogie is not sprung which means on track that is not level it gets stuck the pulling power is next to nothing as I put my usual 3 coaches on and it struggles. If you want a good one but the Hornby one. It is so much better. This is coming from my personal experience om a proper layout .
Aren’t you gonna do the review on Bachman Henry?
What’s the baron notebook you have
Ok i need one
Get the Green one its the nicest one
It rained today. I'm so happy.
Do you worry about the sun warping your tracks?
am going to make a train set
21 minutes 50 seconds "short review"
Will there be more Thomas and friends models?
Joel Cartagena not from hornby as their licence has been given up
matt lander aww that's not fair I love those engine models,
Theres a new steam locomotive being built in britain, a p2 class, its going to be the strongest british steam locomotive, stronger than the 9f, and i think the biggest, designed by nigel gresley. Currently they are all scrapped.
intercity82 you don't have AC ?
AC isn't very common in the UK. houses are generally not built with it installed, commercial buildings are though.
Many in Europe don't have air conditioning. More do in Spain and Italy, but not even a majority do there... I find Europeans saying 20 degrees Celsius is hot a bit strange, as 35 to 40 degrees Celsius is normal during the summer in Texas... Just about every home in Texas has air conditioning.
The nature of the U.K. Weather is very changeable, which is where the stereotype of the British always talking about the weather comes from - because it's a hot topic. It can even vary by region, floods in the south and drought in the north. With this in mind, we tend to prepare for a bit of everything, which is why we're never fully ready for super hot summer, or snow in the winter. I thought about buying AC, but would only probably use it a few weeks or even days each year, which wouldn't justify the expenditure
Normally in the UK, these "heat waves" tend to last no more than a few days, often ending a thunderstorm, followed by a cold front. For the UK to have three weeks or more of dry warm (27c - 33c) is rare, so most of us in the UK don't invest in AC. We're British, we grin and bare the heat with a stiff upper lip :)
Adams radial = The Best
there is one problem with this locomotive the back wheel is not sprung so when the locomotive comes to a incline it will slip
To all the Adam’s 👍
I have and prefer british modle trains, but I use German system. I prefer Roco track and Z21 DCC system.
If this came out in n gauge I’d want it
This model looks very good in BR Black it just needs some coaches to go with it now. There is a Lime Green version but this model looks better in BR Black. How many of your EWS wagons with the stones in would this model be able to pull ? Your own Adams radial tank engine of course not this model.
A 4-4-2 is a Atlantic type in America

Do the review in the garden
WE'VE HAS 3 WEEKS OF THIS WEATHER, AND IS NOT GOING AWAY. WELCOME TO BRITAIN, AND THANKS GLOBAL WARNING.
An Adams 02 looks more lovely
You need blinds on the windows.
Too much ☀️ and too hot 🌡
Lol I'm the first one but nice video!
Em😅
07:34 Oh god, that's the campest thing I've ever seen & I'm a member of the Gay Classic Car group! Good to see you back in the groove now & I like this new video style, even if it does occasionally bring back boyfriend flashbacks
As a company, Oxford Rail needs buck up. Too many silly errors and mistakes.
Nice
