The music video for “Daydreaming” was shot in Taiwan. It is one of the two songs featured in the single, along with “Choose Me”. The video shows Band-Maid playing in an empty room, showcasing their energetic performance.

Kanami said she found Daydreaming difficult to write and that it's her favorite.
I always get chills when I hear Kanami's solo.

Yes, "Daydreaming" is at or near the top on just about everyone's list of favorites. I'm hard pressed to think of any solo that surpasses Kanami's. Such emotion - almost desperation - and beauty.
To me, what Kanami is conveying in Daydreaming is someone being separated from their soulmate, and the first 2/3 of the song they are suffering through their longing, and then the solo is them being reunited briefly, taking in as much as possible in their brief time together, knowing they have to just to go back to the separation and longing again in a tortuous loop.
You wouldn't believe the number of great songs they have without MVs. And most never get reacted to.

"Daydreaming," "YOLO," "Puzzle,” and a host of others are world-class masterpieces.
Although I love Daydreaming just the way it is and believe it may be Band-Maid's best composed and overall accessible song, I've always wondered if it was sung in English, how deep in the international market Daydreaming would have traveled...? It'll be interesting to see if Bestie (sung in English) hits new markets. Oh well, I'll stop daydreaming now. Thx Fables, for another great Band-Maid reaction!

No apology needed for reacting to "Daydreaming", the official music video. This beautifully done video is one that has made many Band-Maid newbies fall in love with them. When a band can "melt your face" and on the next song "melt your heart", you know they are something special. Band-Maid can do hard rock as well as any group and then do incredible beautiful rock ballads.
Kanami’s solo brings tears to my eyes. So beautiful and airy 🔥❤️

Well, as luck would have it, the ONLY Band Maid song that is almost just as good not live is Daydreaming. But, the official live version of Daydreaming gives some good intro stuff that is worth the listen. And yeah, I agree. Kanami's solo in this song is absolutely perfect. Right time, right voice, right place, tastefully done, exact right length, fit perfectly. My favorite Kanami solo, ever.
