- Part 1 - Basic Nitro Management. In this video I am talking about how I evolved in my management of Nitro in Asphalt 9, and what my main rules are that govern my decisions on nitro usage when driving events and time trials.
This is the 1st video of a few as I need to explain optimal nitro charging, and Multiplayer Nitro usage in different videos. There are lots of factors determining when I put nitro on or off. I am sure there are lots of guides on specific tricks by pros, this is not one of them, this is a set of basic rules that I work by to make my decisions.

Learning how to better manage the nitro was a gradual process as I became comfortable with the cars and the tracks and I learnt the most after getting the Corvette Grand Sport. It is so easy to drive you have nitro 'left over' and not wasting this extra nitro was the first stage in learning proper nitro management.
To deactivate nitro when active simply press the drift button (one point I left out that I hope is known!) - Hry

4:53 here I usually like to take the barrel roll ramp and turn off touchdrive to land back on the ‘path’ and continue as you have.

Yes, every car goes through stages of availability and I expect the Pagani to become a Hunt Car at some point... how soon that is, I have no idea

Btw, can I use nitro throughout a race using the elise? Because I think I never ran out of nitro with the elise due to its great nitro efficiency
True with the elise... but you will get faster using these methods as you will manage to take more ramps with shockwaves.
Elise and GS are great cars to learn with due to that efficiency they forgive mistakes.

I meant cars that you rely on handling and dont like drifting. I dont know any numbers in my head, just what they feel like.

Sometimes when I turn off the nitro while airborne the car/s start to sway or twist. Why does this happen and how do I best avoid it?
Tap quickly to deactivate without causing any or too much drift. But sometimes drift a little to charge nitro, so try and get used to how the car reacts to different length presses.
Sorry, I forgot to ask, it struck me after I pressed the send button. When driving on paved roads - primarily in Rome - some say you should use blue nitro. Do I apply a when-in-Rome-do-as-the-Romans approach or is it humbug?
There are rough patches on all tracks and on rough patches... blue Nitro preserves the speed best.
Rough patches can be before ramps, and at the side of the road, but also across the whole track in certain places.
I always use blue Nitro to enter a ramp due to the patch before the ramp and then orange in the air once off the ramp.

14:34 What did you mean that in multiplayer, you need nitro ready to defend?
If you have max Nitro... you can turn on shockwave and then 'defend' against KD by being nearly invulnerable while in shockwave.

Hello sir I know you have IPhone but I have Huawei Y9 2019 so it's bad for me to use like this nitro
I don't have an Iphone, I use a Samsung.. it makes no difference what phone you have as to how you need to use the nitro in the game, but it differs between Touchdrive and Manual driving.

@@madathanu I know this is probably a stupid question, because I didn't see anyone else ask, but how do you mean when you say turn nitro on and off? Like how do you turn it off mid nitro then turn it back on again?
(BTW I'm using non touch drive with a Windows 10 laptop
@@JaneCooper190072 nitro management is slightly different when driving manual with regards to switching it off, as to switch it off you tap the drift button.
In manual mode this causes a drift, something that doesn't happen in TD.
You can still turn nitro off and on again in sequences to preserve nitro, but you can't turn it off and leave it off without starting a drift.
