Small tip: you can only block when facing the enemy, it’s better to stack them all in front of you so you can block them all

Just rolled a Paladin as well. Excited to try AoE grinding like this!
It is a lot of fun! I love being able switch things up depending on how I am feeling. If i want to AOE grind I can. If i want to do a quest and fight mobs one at a time I will use my two handed Axe. I have both tanked and healed all the dungeons near my level. And groups always want you!
I'm levelling a pala and plan to respec at 41. Enjoyed the vid, keep it up! subscribed

I've been doing this recently and I've found that using Seal and Judge of wisdom is the best

At this level, it’s honestly better to go holy shield rather than consecration. Consecration does minimal damage for a massive mana sink, and holy shield also offers the mitigation. I generally go blessing of sanct, ret aura, holy shield, and either seal of light and judge light, or sometimes seal of wisdom judge light…..if I start a pack at half mana I’ll judge wisdom and seal of crusader. I’ve tried every build at this level. Cons/sanct, cons/ret ( with some vengeance), and holy shield. Definitely been faster and more efficient as holy shield
Just a tip, you can't block from behind! And you must attack mobs that you've pulled at least once every 8 seconds to Leash them further than normal!
Glad I found this video.. quick question. Do you have a list or what is the best grinding spots once you hit 40 or 41, in regards to xp per hour, low armored mobs that are quick to kill and so on?

I have just rolled my 1st pally ever on one of the classic servers! What are your opinions on leveling (solo) as a holy? Or should I stick to ret? Also, any build/gear/guide reccomendations? :)
Hey Vaiva thanks for checking out the video. What I did during my leveling process was I did a mix of Holy and Ret talents until I hit level 41 and then I did a respec to holy/protection. If you are doing solo I wouldn't go full holy. I would only go full holy in the lower levels if you planned on doing a lot of group content. The main ability that I found to be super helpful while leveling in the Holy Tree is Spiritual Focus. If I was starting off on a brand new character I would go down the retribution tree until I hit got Seal of Command and Pursuit of Justice. Then i would consider putting some points in holy if you want to mix it up.
Do you know if consecrate in the AoE grinding spec (with imp Righteous Fury 3/3) would produce enough threat generation with Ret aura and whatever else to hold aggro against a mages Blizzard or a locks Rain? I've not been able to test myself yet but I have a friend I was going to AoE grind with as mage pally combo!
This is a good question, I haven't tested that fully. I do remember in my mid 40s i did a bunch of leveling with a mage and we didn't have any issues.
Hey, I was wondering, how are you casting holy light without getting any pushback from the mobs?
Hey Tyler great question. It's because I have 5 Spiritual focus maxed out and then when I go to heal myself i switch my aura to concentration aura. Those two things combined give me an over 100% resistance to pushback and is an absolute must for Pallys who want to do this. I have a guide up of my talents if you want to check that out. Need to work on positioning. Move around so they all get in front of you. You can't block or parry attacks from behind.

Thanks for checking it out! In classic you need to be level 41 to start AOE grinding. I have a guide that goes over all of my talents if you just go through the videos on my channel :)

What helps more in damage? Attack Power or Spell Power for leveling as a Prot? What you guys think?
SP is BiS if you can find it, but while leveling, it’s hard to come by SP gear. Also you’d replace your gear very often, so I’d prioritise Stam over SP while leveling.
Wisdom helps more while levelling.
blessing of sanctuary reduces damage of each attack by 10 so its better for aoe grinding

What’s the rotation you use??
I drop consecration and turn on blessing of wisdom and start auto attacking until i can drop consecration again. If i'm fighting undead mobs then I will throw in exorcism.
