I literally repaired two popped keys in 5 minutes with this video. It saved me probably $200 from the mac repair shop. Just INCREDIBLE. Hey Saunderverse, just a quick note...the hinge is oriented the same way for both the right and left arrows. So you pry the key up in the lower right corner on both. i broke my key by accident and i just spent 20 mins with my eyebrow tweezers and i finally fixed it, the back key cap was a little bit broken like where you need to slide the white plastic parts in but there was still enough space for it to slide in, yay i don't have to go back to school with a broken key.

My right arrow key was of course popped on the "if you pop this up, you've screwed it up" side. To a repair shop I go. Good effort. My X-ray vision saw through your left hand so no problem blocking my view. Haha

Heads up -- He mentions a couple of times in the video that the left arrow key is reversed. It isn't. The switch is exactly the same for left and right keys, so try not to get confused about that

Yooo i spent 2 hours tryna figure this shit out then finally the keycap broke oof, I thought I was done for then I connected both keycap and pushed it down randomly, it took me 3 attempts before I did it then the left arrow was back to normal I was like SHEEEESH bro, and btw nice vid
Love that you're trying to show us how to do this. It's unfortunate that your left hand completely blocks what you're trying to do though (at 1:55).
I just did this by following your video and it worked great, but i have to correct one thing. Only the up arrow key is mirrored. All of the keys lift from the right hand side except the up key. It might just be my keyboard, but that would be kinda weird

I can not fix my right arrow, a little tiny particle of the white bit that is under the key snapped off. I think I need to take my mac to a repair shop...

heyyy the whole thing came apart, I now have 3 separate pieces and I've tried for use over an hour and I can't get it to stick in! what do I do?? should I see if there's anywhere I can pay to get it fixed?
Such a lifesaver!! I know this wasn't because of the tutorial (it was going on beforehand,) but the right side of my arrow key won't stay down when finished. Is there anything I can do to correct this, or should I just suck it up and move on with my life??

The white plastic part does not apply to the metal hooks inside the key help. I think they are bent.
