  • Highlights from a remarkable match in which Hendon progressed to the London Senior Cup Final on Monday 29 April (at Dulwich Hamlet FC).
Four goals from Joe White and one each from Dan Matsuzaka and Kai Brosnan ensured progression.
The team are playing some fantastic football which is a joy to watch.

Fantastic performance lads....warming up nicely for the final with some silky football and finishes...would be great to see the cup at SJP. COYG.

It takes hard work, so you know. Hendon are working despite a poor budget.
      They need donations.

Despite result, very impressed with Dartford's technique and tempo throughout. Their keeper was pure class.
It could be argued, that Hendon knew the challenges ahead, but every man was excellent on the ball. Brosnan was obviously the better, but it was high quality throughout.
3,4,5 and 6 goals, needless to say, were outstanding, and made very good players appear lacking. Even then, Hendon missed so many chances!
Hendon should win this final. They are all so good on the ball; express experience, and evidently a real team spirit.
Dartford must wonder how they lost this. They were just beaten by a team which has achieved so much this year. They play like Brazil used to. That was when they had real characters. Hendon have them. Hope they stay together. Irreplaceable!

Lee has stated that players may decide to move to other clubs who offer more money, but think about this.
Hendon have the nicest people, and other clubs don't have personalities. Referring to the players.
The great Ethan Light had to go to Banbury, but that was a backward step, and I'm sure he's too professional, so just took it on the chin.
Dylan Berry is mentally more mature, but he was more like a 20 year old with maturity of 40. He will handle any situation he finds himself in very well, and prove an asset to any team.
These Hendon players are playing great football, but they have to be around good people to enjoy their game. Apart from Harrow Borough and Beaconsfield, no other club exists such a fine team spirit.
