  • Australian entrepreneur Craig Wright has publicly identified himself as Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto. His admission ends years of speculation about who came up with the original ideas underlying the digital cash system. Mr Wright has provided technical proof to back up his claim using coins known to be owned by Bitcoin's creator. Prominent members of the Bitcoin community and its core development team have also confirmed Mr Wright's claim.

With his identity under the microscope the best way to keep the government/public of his tracks was not to deny but to confirm in a secretive and "noisy" fashion. i feel those who would allow the market
dynamism to determine when to trade or not are
either new in space in general or probably just
naive, the sphere have seen far worse times than
this, enlightened traders continue to make good
use of the dip and pump even acquiring more
equities towards trading sessions, l'd say that
more emphasis should be put into trading since
it is way profitable than hodling. Trading went
smooth for me as I was able to raise over 9.2
BTC when l started at 1.5 BTC in just few weeks
implementing trades with signals and insights I would advise you all to trade
your asset rather than holding for a future you aren't
    sure about.

Satoshi Nakamoto mined the genesis block with a timestamp and can be identified by it... The hash of the genesis block, 000000000019d6689c085ae165831e934ff763ae46a2a6c172b3f1b60a8ce26f, has two more leading hex zeroes than were required for an early block. The genesis block is almost always hardcoded into the software of the applications that utilize its block chain. The coinbase parameter (seen above in hex) contains, along with the normal data, the following text:
The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks.
"This was probably intended as proof that the block was created on or after January 3, 2009, as well as a comment on the instability caused by fractional-reserve banking. Additionally, it suggests that Satoshi Nakamoto may have lived in the United Kingdom." So he can be Satoshi Nakamoto.

don't want money? why don't you give your half a billion dollars worth of bitcoins to charity then (or at least pay some tax on it, help fund hospitals, schools etc in your country)? oh hang on, you're currently fighting court cases not to pay tax on the money you "don't want".

Craig grew up with his mother who had a divorce and was in a relationship with a Japanese man, his name was Satoshi, and was a father figure to Craig from an early age, as well as his karate instructor. He also had a girlfriend who frequently travelled to and from Japan. Nakamoto comes from a Japanese philosopher Tominaga Nakamoto who Craig admired; Nakamoto signifies wise or intelligent history. The word and name simultaneously means clever or order, and implies a wise ancestry and a history that is connected. The blockchain is born. Craig wrote the white paper.

@@swisscottage1070 Im currently a 5 minute drive from the school Craig went to, I live in his home city. He is extremely bright, there are 100s of interviews on youtube about him explaining bitcoin in great detail. Of course Dave Kleiman & Hal Finney were part of the team which helped, but Craig was the driving force and author of the white paper (British English not North American). Unless any other evidence comes to light, that is at the present moment the most logical conclusion. Most people form their conclusion based on if they like or dislike Craig, which has nothing to do with the fact that he is either Satoshi or not. There in lies the problem.
