I have seen that website before too, and I agree that their prices are far too low to be genuine. I have considered buying one of their Holographic Darth Maul as it is the only Funko Pop! Star Wars figure that I am missing, and I agree that their fakes look very good, they copy the originals very well, but I would always know that it was a fake, so haven’t done it myself. Appreciate seeing one of these, thank you Christopher.

At the end of the day they’re all vinyl figures, I have seen people pay crazy prices for customized pops or 3d printed pops for far more than retail. This one looks amazing for a fake! Great video!
You’re not wrong. A lot of custom made pops go for twice what I paid for the Rex! I have no plans on selling my collection and when it comes time to get rid of my collection I’ll be fully transparent about this one being fake. Thanks so much for watching! 🙏🏻
The back of the box and sticker gives it away,. Great video to help fans be alert.

Thanks for the video brother, i saw one of those recently but something was telling it wasn't real, with this i now know for certain, so sad we don't have a normal single Captain rex, not paying 300 dlls for the original sadly 😢

@@SeriouslyStarWars No sir, it's the sticker on the funko app the one you had is say is more of a rectangle. I've seen 2 different types. But mine is the more square style and I got it at hot topic when the pop got announced. I didn't know there was a sticker like the one of your box.

@@SeriouslyStarWars mine is an exact copy of yours, even down to the slightly off centre head and one foot off the base. There are a lot of the same one on eBay at the moment. I’m happy with it, not going to spend on a genuine one.
@cmsmokes3938 good to know. I may look on Ali Express to see what else is on there. I’m not spending $600-$800 on the real thing. I have no intention of selling the fake so I think buying the knock off is fine!
@@SeriouslyStarWars they have some of the early holo pops on there. Worth a look. Only took 7 days delivery to U.K.

OK, so I am much less angry with you for burning that box lol. I'm half tempted to pick one up as there is no way on EARTH I'll pay $800 for a Funko, as much as I love Rex and would like to have it. Something about his helmet looks cheap. Idk what it is, the type of plastic maybe?

Even if you buy a fake Funko Pop only for you collection and not with the intention of selling it, I think it is still wrong to buy it with the purpose of having it in your collection because you are encouraging the counterfeit market. The more people like you buy it, the more they make fake pop that will flood the secondary market. To me, you be better to just accept the fact that you will not have the real item than you support a seller that is selling counterfeit item.
I think the secondary market is already flooded with fakes, and I’m positive there’s a bunch of collectors who have a fake pop and don’t even realize it. I didn’t purchase this fake pop with the sole intention to have it in my collection, that was only part of the reason. I did want to make people aware of what to look for when looking for the original. Now that Rex showed up in the Ahsoka series and we got the 2nd ever Rex Funko in the 2-pack with Pong Krell I think a lot of people will want to try and get the OG Rex. I appreciate you checking out the video!
