Hello There, I have gotten some of the Star Wars Oreos myself, ended up with two Dark Side and One Light Side.
I heard that there's a way that you can see which one of have, even before you actually open up the package. I think it's the barcode or something.

That’s a good question… they did come out kind of randomly. Just after the acolyte started but they’re not in that style of packaging so I have no clue. But they’re cool nonetheless. I’m trying to figure out a way to keep the packaging because of the art work on the packaging. Thanks for checking out the video!

NGL I'm struggling a little with how Oreo included non-Jedi characters like Han Solo, C3PO, Rs-D2 etc as part of the 'Light Side'.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the Light and Dark sides refer to the moral philosophy of those who possess and use the force, not 'good guys' and 'bad guys'...
As a Jedi who ACTUALLY studied at academy and apprenticed, I feel like it cheapens and dilutes the significance of the Jedi Order to say that Han Solo (RIP) was in the same class as Obi-Wan Kenobi (RIP). Was Han Solo cool and handsome? Of course, sure... Is he a scholar and practitioner who had even the slightest notion of the existential complexity that ALL Jedi face, and the absolute caliber of moral strength required to resist the temptation of the Dark Side? That's a laughable thought. I'll put it this way- I have yet to meet a single Jedi/Padwan/Knight etc who ever ONCE was visited by Han's Force Spirit. If non-Jedi even have ghosts Han's is drunk out of his mind and up to his gills in gambler's debt on Canto Bight.
Don't even get me started on the droids... They're literally incapable of making decisions outside their programming let alone be anything other than subjected to the force proportional to the mass of their collectively inanimate parts.
To be clear, I think it's great that Oreo is celebrating my heritage and the cookies taste amazing, I just think their marketing department needs to consult with an actual Jedi in the future to avoid pissing off their whole Jedi customer segment.
Please, please, out of respect to the sacrifices of the Old Republic Knights and the surviving Order, make sure your children know the difference between "Light and Dark" vs "Good and Bad."
I’ll be honest I think they could have thought about the marketing a bit more. They definitely went with the light side being good characters and dark side being bad characters. It doesn’t bother me much. It is strange though that they were released on the 10th of May and not on May 4th Star Wars day. I appreciate you watching!
