Force of Habits - Loud House's New WORST Episode??

  • Finally back with another review of Loud House's WORST episode... potentially. In fact, it could possibly be worse than Loud House's very own Deep Cuts...
During my absence, I sat through the available episodes of Loud House's Season 7, and in doing so, I discovered Loud House's "Force of Habits", a Lori, Leni, and Luna episode where they have to deal with their partners (Bobby, Gavin, and Sam respectively) and their annoying habits. I won't lie, when I saw Force of Habits, I was utterly flabbergasted. I was completely shocked that The Loud House would produce an episode like this, and have Lori, Leni, and Luna act like this. Even though the season just started, I'm confident in saying that Loud House Season 7 will not produce a worse episode than Force of Habits, featuring one of Lori, Leni, and Luna's worst performances.
If you have functioning braincells, you may have connected two and two together, but if you haven't, then yeah this is a review of Loud House's Force of Habits. This episode of the Loud House has Lori Loud, Leni Loud, and Luna Loud at their absolute worst, so I just had to cover it and share just how BAD Force of Habits is. Force of Habits is in fact the worst of Loud House Season 7, that's for sure, but could it really be the new worst of The Loud House? Could it really challenge the likes of Deep Cuts?
I'm sorry for my absence, again. But I'm happy to be back and putting videos out. My next review, unless plans change, is a review of a few Season 6 episodes. I'm thinking Snow Escape and The Last Laugh, let me know what you guys want and I'll check it out. Like, comment, subscribe and all that good stuff if you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching. Stay cool 😎👍

The bad habits don't really seem all that bad...in terms of the partners.
Bobby's CSD (or Compulsive Singing Disorder) doesn't come across as annoying to MY ears. At least he has more decorum than my old man, who CONSTANTLY sings out of tune every hour on the hour.
Sam's indecisiveness feels out of place because we've never seen her show this side of her even once. But regardless, it's not as annoying as Luna's fake British accent and mannerisms.
As for Gavin's snort laughing...I admit to having some moments of that myself. Most of the time I have what my sister calls the "Seth Rogan Laugh," where he tends to laugh quietly and make sudden odd gasping noises.
In any case, the girls' habits are the real bad ones here; from Luna's fake British-ness, her incessant habit to drum with anything she holds to Lori's improper use of the word "literally." To quote the Weird Al song, Word Crimes; that really makes me want to "literally" smash a crowbar upside your stupid head, Lori. As for Leni's habit of taking selfies a lot, it's...a minor annoyance compared to her sisters' issues

Well, there are people with misophonia that might find Bobby's CSD to rub them the wrong way, so not everyone is the same. Plus, I'm practically indecisive in social situations because the preparations make me scared and anxious and it feels like I'm being timed on something, so I pretty much freeze up. Though granted, it's not as bad as Sam's but still. I just want to point out that Lori and Bobby's relationship, while overexaggerated (it's a cartoon, but still) always felts toxic. Lori displays controlling manipulative behavior. Overly needy and possessive habits. Lack of respect and boundaries. Bobby, while not as bad is enabling Lori by being a doormat. When he did put his foot down it was cringe worthy. Save the Date was when Lincoln unknowingly hurt Ronnie Anne's feelings and Bobby's immediate reaction is to punish Lori by breaking up with her. Lori is at her worst in this episode and this time Bobby is just as much the problem. Ronnie Anne behaved more like a bully than a friend, but I feel she has grown as a character since moving.
This episode was another dumpster fire because it backtracks the Louds character development and they miss the point in the end. "There is nothing wrong with me, so there is nothing wrong with you" was the worst moral to this episode. Constructive criticism is good not bad. I really wish this episode would have ended with all three breaking up, if only to see how wrong how ridiculous they were, but instead we got this.

So like if the partners didn’t criticize them in return I feel like none of this fallout in the episode would’ve happened everything would have still been relatively okay. Granted it would still be one sided but my point is I don’t think it was the first criticisms that the partners were upset about. The girls weren’t wrong for expressing how they feel towards their partners and vice versa, they WERE wrong for how they acted once their partners communicated their feelings towards them by being stubborn and petty instead of being willing to understand. Seek first to understand after all. Maybe that would’ve been a better moral.

The episode is called, drum roll. “No Such Luck” it follows Lincoln as he is annoyed he has to go to all of his 10 sister’s events all the time. He tries to hide himself away from them but Lynn gets him to go to her baseball game. She absolutely bombs the game after a perfect season and blames Lincoln as a bad luck charm cause of all her superstitions. That’s not the bad part, it’s what happens next. Lincoln realizes if he creates a reputation as a bad luck charm, he’ll never have to go to his sister’s events again. So he pulls the stunt of “accidentally” tumbling and destroying lori’s drivers before her golf game. This seals the deal for the family, they stop inviting him to anything. But there’s a catch, this applies to EVERYTHING. The louds wanna go to the movies, but they exclude Lincoln because they think his bad luck will affect them. But it gets WAAAY worse. When Lincoln goes to his room to rest there, they kick him out because they think he’ll destro6 the house he’s forced to sleep outside, they stop respecting him as a member of the family and see him as a waste. The absolute horrid mess that this episode is as it literally promotes child abuse is CRAZY.

Yeah this one is bad. Now it’s not terrible and compared to other bad episodes this one is betterIt’s just that there were a number of smaller issues add up to it being bad for me. Lori, Leni, and Luna being a bit of unlikeable hypocrites in it in that they wanted to change Bobby, Gavin, and Sam respectively but got mad when the three did the same to them. Yes I KNOW that the point was for them to realize they were wrong but that still doesn’t make it fun to watch. I also feel the message while good was way too predictable. The other problem is that it feel like they just gave most of the characters annoying habits to fit the story of this episode. Please correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think bobby has EVER randomly break out into song before, he’s been in a ton of episodes, and I never saw him doing that once, Apparently it’s supposed to be a reference to his actor being in “big time rush” which….ok but that still doesn’t work for the story. Sam is less affected by it as we have seen her on dates with Luna but still I don’t think we’ve seen her be unable to decide something. I’m excluding Gavin cause he and Leni only starting dating in the 6th season, so we don’t know a lot about him. I guess it could be explained away as neither Lori nor Luna noticing the habits till now, but I don’t know that still a very weak reason but admit I’m overanalyzing it.
Now what about Lori, Leni and Luna annoying habits? Among them it’s only Lori’s whose annoying habit we’ve seen before. Luna was more of a guitar player than a drummer so her “constantly drumming” things was seemingly a habit they created just for this episode so Sam could play the reverence card on her. Leni annoying habit of constantly desiring to post things on social media is also not very well supported by past episodes of the show. So yeah I think only one (maybe two) of 6 characters “annoying habits” is consistent with past episodes of the show and that’s not a good sign! I also feel they missed a great plot point where Rita tells her daughters that she knows how they fell, that she feels Lynn is too emotional at times, but that’s who he is, that him being that way makes her loves him more and that she wouldn’t want to change him even if she could. Yes I guess they had Lori realize most of that but then Lynn being overemotional in this would have served a purpose other than humor. I know most of the bad things about this episode (characters given inconstant characteristics, characters acting unlikeable so they can learn a lesson, and the plot/message being obvious or predictable) has been done before and worse in other episodes, so I don’t know why I have such an issue with it here. If you liked it great like I said it’s nowhere near the very worst of the shows run, but this was too predictable and unenjoyable to watch for me. Next to party Fowl this is the worst of season 7 4/10

This is my thoughts on this episode:
Some of the things they saying are just wanting the other to change for example the snorting thing. yeah its annoying but some people just cant help that sort of thing. However other things like saying Lori says literally too much is a good thing to criticize! There is good and bad and they just made it seem like it all was bad. Either way they went with this episode is negative if they had told them to just accept it and become better it would suck because sometimes you cant help those things but at the same time you should NOT neglect it. they really needed to get that point across but instead they took a hard turn on it just because it was easiest and that is what makes this episode suck. Along with the fact they just completely reject it and learn the completely wrong lesson. Sometimes its okay to say this kind of stuff but other times it is just being controlling because they cannot help it and the best way to get through it SOMETIMES is learning to accept it and other times learning u cannot change that aspect of them. it just depends on what it is..

  • @Kilvieo
    @Kilvieo Před 25 dny +1

I agree, this episode does in fact teach the wrong lesson, and not just this episode; I know at least one more that teaches the wrong message. There's an episode where Lynn throws out vanzilla, gets a new van, and goes crazy and acts like he loves it more than his family. At the end, he regrets his actions, but instead of simply changing his behavior, he decides to get vanzilla back.
I feel as if that episode teaches kids to fear change and keep things as they are, instead of learning how to handle and adapt to the world around them; especially when it comes to having to give something up, even if it's sentimental.

I guess I took the wrong thing from this when I saw it recently? I thought the issue was their refusal to change when their partners agreed to put forth the effort to change, making them seem very hypocritical. I can see accepting someone despite their faults, but then when they bring up something to you that annoys them and it sets you off, it makes you seem like a huge jerk to them. Yeah, there are exceptions like Luna's gf when her habbit could actually be harmful, but all the others are absolutely ok
Though I do think it's ok to point them out if you want, but it's their decision to work on that or not. And after that, if you don't want to date someone just cause he says "literally" all the time that means you shouldn't be dating them anyway

Finally a person that gets my perspective🫡. Even if the Loud house show tries to give good lessons in the end, the show doesn't like to give a lesson about proper criticism because they think it will ruin a persons oneself but they do not realize that it's necessarily good for ones growth. This isnt the only episode that the Loudhouse doesnt like criticism, theres another episode that talks about a "White lie" which means that they support that having a small lie is a good lesson so that they won't "hurt" others by giving them false support. The thing that I hate in that episode most is that they depict a honest person as a "jerk" because they told them the painful truth that needs to be heard. I hated how they did honest people dirty considering how telling the truth is more better than hiding your feelings that will soon cause more bigger consequences which resulting your loved one wouldn't even trust you to the point that it will take months or years for them to ever reconcile with you. Loud house persuaded children to do the same because since its a kid show which disgusted how they are oversensitive to criticism.
