Corralejo all the way for us. I'm 55 and feel the mix of older and younger people there gives off a great vibe,we feel really safe and at home when visiting. Cheers for the shout out and btw, you 2 are becoming a real double act lol. Enjoy your trip to the UK.

We’ve been to Tenerife and would never go back I’m afraid… Fuerteventura has something I can’t explain it’s quite spiritual in a way.
Corralejo with its wonderful restaurants and live music is everything we look for in a resort so totally agree with your findings!

Great video! Going to Corralejo for the first time in January really looking forward to it,we've been to Los Cris and stayed at the arona gran too,great hotel👌🏻 but area around is definitely missing a central hub,We also stayed in De Las Americas twice and did enjoy it,we stayed at the Bitacora hotel and Tigotan hotel the golden mile is nice for an evening stroll but me and my wife are in our thirties and really didn't like the area by Veronica's,exactly like you said tacky and boozed up teens,not my idea of fun, Thanks for the videos on Corralejo it's helped us choose to go and try that instead this year👍🏻
Have fun! Make sure you check out Sunset Lounge on Sundays the band starts about 5pm and Rock Island Bar any night of the week (my favourites are Tues, Weds, Thurs, Fridays)
Not been to Tenerife, but corralejo would be hard to beat in my humble opinion. I found my happy place in corralejo.

I grew up going on holiday to Tenerife and loved it ….but as a “grown up” Corralejo is defo a win for us 😉 I totally agree with Izzy when she says there isn’t a centre to Los Cris but there are many strips of bars that I think you may have missed, it is very spread out. Los Gigantes/Puerto de Santiago are good resorts if you go back. Great to see your thoughts guys. Corralejo in January 🎉🎉🎉

Corralejo is my absolute favourite place. Gutted we couldn't come this year as always planned our trip this time of year. My sons surgery is a success so we are niw having our belated August holiday at chrustnas this year instead..... we are soooo excited always wanted to have christmas in our special place 😊

Dont ever be embarrassed to have your opinion on something. Its your opinion and your allowed it whether others agree or not . We cant all like the same things and just say it how it is . I been to tenerife and didnt like it all . FUERTEVENTURA Is the happy island ❤

It definitely isn’t massive or too busy! If I were you I would give it a go 😊
We've been to the Los Cristianos area for many years as my mother used to live there, it is quieter in the resort but livelier a bit further inland. There are some good restaurants there. We went to Corralejo and indeed Fuerteventura for the first time in July, and have definitely found our happy place there. Just love the relaxed vibe in Corralejo and the fantastic beach bars. We're coming back in April and are also trying Costa Adeje for the first time in July, good to hear it's the closest to the Corralejo vibe.
Definitely is, you’ll love Adeje don’t worry about that, when you’re there check out next door Fanabe too 👍🏻
Tenerife has got lots tribute acts to watch and I think is more expensive. More like Blackpool in the sun .fuertuventura for us

Many years ago I stupidly thought Corralejo was a big resort and would be like Playa las Americas or Blackpool in the Sun not sure why I thought that....but it's SO not like that at all. Fell in love with it in April due to the live music bars, so many to choose from but in a relaxed casual way if that makes sense. Not in your face noisy. My new favourite place but heading to Playa Blanca, across the water next time as its my previous favourite place....Paradise.
Easily to make a day trip between the two!
oh and love corralejo so much we have booked our trip also for August 2024 as well 😊

Think you are spot on regarding the live music in Corralejo.Interestingly a few years ago I got chatting to a guy at El Cottillo football.
he really rated Costa Adeje as a possible holiday destination in comparison to Corralejo.
It seems to me it’s as close to corralejo as you can get

could not agree more david costa adeje is the only place we would go in tenerife we’ve been to tenerife loads of times lots cristianos and las america’s would avoid although we did live to walk all the way down from costa adeje down to low cris and back up a few watering holes sling the way , found corralejo few years ago and not looked back live the live music vibe and it’s got a bit of everything another great video keep up the good work mate 👍 Ray and Diane

Personally for me I prefer Tandoori over Everest in Corralejo! And yes, the one here in Tenerife was amazing too
I like both Tenerife and Fuerteventura. It has to be Adeje for me too. Im heading to Corralejo in September and Tenerife Adeje in December. Did you go to Siam park?

Many thanks for the compare and contrast video which i requested. Agree with much of what you say, with the exception of Los Cristianos which I'm rather fond of. Last visited Veronica's strip in the early noughties. Recall the bars reeking of vomit, pushy touts, the disgusting state of the toilets, the presence of drug dealers and prostitutes, and the whiff of violence in the air. It was carnage. Have to be honest, i also recall having a fantastic time. All human life is there and a bit more besides. Costa Adeje is more upmarket and has the wonderful Siam Park, which is far superior to Corralejo's water park. Undoubtedly, Corralejo has more charm and character. In truth, i like them all. Once again, many thanks for the excellent vlog. Very honest, interesting and informative.

@@DavidEvansVlogs I would regard the Old Town as the centre. It's more authentically Canarian than its neighbour PDLA and has a nice atmosphere. But Los Cristianos is certainly more commercialised than Corralejo. The north of Tenerife is more authentic still. Enjoyed the vlog.

Tenerife is my least favourite canary island, It’s a bit down market to be honest. Had some great holidays in Tenerife though and it’s fine. You can’t really compare the two, both are so different. Corralejo is lovely in my opinion and Fuerteventura is a lovely peaceful island. Fuerteventura wins on every level for me

@@DavidEvansVlogs indeed! Incidentally actually stayed at the Arona Gran in Los Cristianos and it was fantastic. The first day out and about the police were removing a shanty town of squatters off the beach which ruined it a bit for us. Last year we were in Costa adeje and it was a great holiday
