- The accommodation and complimentary meal for two was provided for free by sunwing airline because they delayed our flight by more than 6 hrs.
It is your right to receive free accommodation if your airline delays your flight for more than 6 hrs. We didn’t have a problem as we had an additional day on top of our vacation. So it is a good idea to save at least a day or two from your vacation just in case.

Lol.. if u r there for a turquoise blue beach then u will be disappointed. I think I loved it because I was there with my hubby, it is about who u r with ☺️. Also it was free, so u r somewhat right 👍🏻. I hope u have a great stay 🍀.

Sorry I wasn’t paying attention to the vegetarian options. FYI, the salad I shared in this video is vegetarian, by far one of the best Salad I had.

Stayed there in 2022. Beach is horrible. Pretty much on par for Riviera Maya. The hotel seemed very old since it was taken over by Hyatt and was an older hotel. There is a reason why this hotel is 30-40% less than the Hyatt Ziva Cancun. In general, I would pass on staying in the Riviera Maya area and stay at the hotel zone.
We were fortunate to have free accommodation. I really appreciate the good in everything. The beach may not be turquoise blue like hotel zone but it was a lot less crowded and huts near the beach seemed beautiful at night. We also enjoyed the food, it was excellent. Gratitude is all I have.
