Best Spanish player to play in the PL ever... You can say Torres, Fabergas, etc. but they haven't been close to as consistent as SIlva has been.. 10 years and he still starts most games for City

I remember watching him first at Celta Vigo and thinking 'wow'. Then he got in the first team at Valencia and he was ridiculously brilliant. He was linked with Liverpool amongst other clubs at that time. I was praying we would get him. Obviously we didnt and our loss was City's gain. Happy to say that i have seen David Silva play and happy for him that he could grace the Premier League. Brilliant player and one of the best players to ever play in England. LEGEND. Respect. From an LFC supporter.

No chance. Silva has been phenomenal, but I'd take Scholes, Vieira, Touré, Lampard and a fair few others over him in the centre and Bergkamp, Suarez & Rooney ahead of him in a second striker or attacking midfielder role. Silva was and still is awesome and definitely one of the 10 or so all round best creative players the league has had, but the premier League since it's inception has had more talent than any league bar La Liga for me.
