Got a 68 exact same color body & metal deck, farm field find. It;'s seized, no brakes , some hood rust, sitting for some yrs & was farmers dad's, But you know , it looks pretty good to my eye & interior is like brand new. I paid a few hundred which is loose change in US money.. Couldn"t do much per negative 35 / 40 / degree cold up here in Canadian Grain Country. so I watched your video a few times just to get my brain ready for spring. I will put Fifty / fifty / tranny fluid & diesel in plug holes to try & free her up.. These were the days when trucks were simple to farm fix & now it is my turn to wrench. I will remove box sides & install a deck winch , so basically a flat deck & of course it has hydraulic lift. I really enjoyed the thought process. & especially enjoyed your High Tech approach & cutting edge solutions. Well thanks for sharing this & Good Luck .
Cool video. That’s a neat old truck, get her cleaned up and running good and it’d be a great farm truck. That’s a bigger engine than I’m used to in something like that. Does it have a 2 speed rear end?
