When I went visiting 'First Blood' Rambo filming locations last may, I spotted what could have been the 'Delmar Berry's property'.

and read my blog story above, was curious and decided to continue my research. With the help of his dad, he started looking from the point I left. And the unimaginable happened. The 'Delmar berry' 's property was finally discovered.
Rambo: First Blood or Rambo outside the US), is a 1982 action/adventure film directed by Ted Kotcheff. The film stars Sylvester Stallone as the unstoppable John Rambo, a troubled and misunderstood Vietnam War veteran, with Sheriff Will Teasle (Brian Dennehy) as his nemesis and Colonel Samuel Trautman (Richard Crenna) as his ally. It was released on October 22, 1982. Based loosely on David Morrell's 1972 novel of the same name, it was the first of the four-film Rambo series.
Since its release, First Blood has been a critical and commercial success, and has had a lasting influence on the genre. It has also spurred countless parodies. The resulting Rambo franchise propelled Stallone to iconic status in the United States, although at the time of its release, Stallone had already gained popularity from the first three Rocky films. The film is also notable for its psychological portrayal of the aftereffects of the Vietnam War, particularly the challenges faced by American veterans attempting to re-integrate into society.
    www.you-just-dont-turn-it-off.com
Also, the video shows the military staging area where Colonel Trautman appeared for the time in the Rambo franchise and said "God did not make Rambo, I made him! ". This was the best place to pay respect to the actor Richard Crenna. This week end celebrates his birthday (30th November)

I saw this when I was 17 and never fully grasped the importance of this scene until decades later. I’m 57 now and a retired Army Infantryman, I served 26 years in Active Duty and fought in two wars as such. I’ve lost two men to suicide since the I retired and it’s those buddies that we connect to the hardest and losing one is a stab in the gut that hurts more than you’ll imagine. Hope is what this scene is about to me, once hope is diminished, it impacts us all differently. In the scene we see John behaving normally recalling the memories since men like us always focus on the happy memories or the bad ones will take over. Once he learned his buddy was gone, it was the last straw snapped and he slipped into a dark place, today we call this “going postal” since death seems a preferential option since all hope appears lost. God be with my fellow Grunts out there who ache.

The character of Rambo spoke volumes to the feelings of many of the over two million veterans of what we vets called, "The Southeast Asia War Games" that we weren't allowed to win. We were stabbed in the back by Democrat/Socialist/Liberal traitors and their army of drug ridden hippy/yippie scum who met us returning military members at many airports in the USA and - in the words of Rambo - called us "Baby killers and other foul things." We did not get victory parades...at most WWII and Korea vets bought us a drink at the VFW. Vietnam vets learned real quick never to put their military service on an employment form - a quick way of NOT being hired. Also, you NEVER wore the Class "A" - the dress uniform in public - a sure way getting into a fight with some worthless Leftist PIG. So when Rambo The Movie came out in 1982 many Vietnam veterans CHEERED when Rambo destroyed that small town in Washington state. Paybacks are hell - nearly 60 years after my military service in Vietnam ended - I still HATE the Leftist traitors who sold out the USA in the 1960s and 70s. The enemy wasn't in Vietnam - the enemy was our own Democrat Party and Leftist PIGS! SPIT!

I was in Hope this summer visiting family and saw the iconic trestle bridge in Hope that Rambo walked across where Teasle dropped him off and he turns right back around back to town - was not there. They tore it down built a new boring bridge in its place - a real shame. I grew up in Chilliwack just down the road and remember them filming Rambo when I was a kid. After the filming my Dad purchased a lightly used Lincoln Continental (fully loaded) that was said to be used by Sylvester Stallone as his personal vehicle during the filming of the movie.

I get goosebumps seeing this, my uncle had a cottage that my family and I would go too in the later 80's and early 90's I spent almost all of my weekends there during those summers of my childhood, about a year ago I went and visited that area and as I remember burnt in my brain but when I got there it completely grown out, the tree's I mean, the area itself was basically let go, the cottages are mostly down and the place seems haunted almost :( sad part is we can't find one picture of that place from how I remember it, all I kept thinking when I was there was how people used to live there, party, kids running all over the place ect and the lake was very active only to end up so abandoned, I have to live on with very little memories of it and now seeing this video really reminded me of that place as it looks almost the same as this area, the laneway going downhill ect, plus the music sure doesn't help my emotions run high haha, awesome video but def made me think about my past

One of the greatest actors, producers and writers of our time. No one can equal the creative genius of Sylvester Stallone. His skill at creating the high and low points of his movie stories emotional scenes is unequaled. Kudos to the music composer that wrote the themes to his movies. He complemented the movies moods perfectly.

Back in the 90's, I met Andrew Laszlo, director of photography of this movie. I remember him explaining how the cave scene was shot, by using just the light of the fire torch.
He worked with Walter Hill in The Warriors, and Southern Comfort too.
Byw, the latter one, due to natural environment was a real challenge to film.

Tremendo!!! Al igual que en el video de "Superman The Movie", es una pena que estén abandonados los lugares escogidos para las primeras escenas de este clásico del cine. Los lugares brillan por su belleza propia.

When Richard Crenna is on the radio and calls out the Baker team. he mentions a SF operator named Jorgensen. Kregg Jorgensen (Still alive today )was a LRRP Team Leader and has written a couple of books about his LRRP Service. Coincidence the same surname Jorgensen was read out??
