If yall don't know, Pearl Abyss doesn't miss. What you see is what you get. They're working on 3 new games en, Crimson Desert, Plan 8, and DokeV. I'm hyped for all that cause I know combat is going to be crazy. Black desert is one of my favorite mmos
Crimson Desert was supposedly a prequel to the famous Black Desert Online but Pearl Abyss saw its potential to be a stand-alone IP and changed it from MMO to a single-player open world. It was originally announced to be released back in the Winter of 2021 but it was further delayed due to the pandemic and the further development.
The back and forth decision of either making it an MMO or Single-Player also further delays the release that but Pearl Abyss finally decided to make it as a stand-alone IP and a Single-player.
It is said that this game would likely to come out sometime in 2024.
You’ll play the role of the main character Macduff the Mercenary and recruit different companions as you journey to the war torn continent of Pywel.
Rumor is that the development is finished and just in talks with publishers atm so no release date.

BDO has the best MMO combat out there but holy fk their monetization is so bad. cant argue with it though since it's a SK company and yall kno how it is with their MMO monetization culture

Look PA may suck at class balancing at bdo but they sure as hell make great combat system, the combat in bdo feels like you’re in an anime fight, think fast, move fast.

I didn't know you reacted on this, but as a player who played for years on their MMO game called Black Desert. I can't trust them with how they make/update their games. All I can say is that they're greedy as hell and like BDO, it's all Glam and Glitter, but the moment you check it's overall content... it's just dogsh*t. They are the master of showing off _shiny_ stuffs.

Meh I am less impressed with crimson desert compared to things like black myth. This game just has a wow factor. I don't think it will have as much substance in my opinion. Crimson Desert just seems like its taking a bunch of mechanics from other hits throwing them all into one game. Basically a wide net to get people interested, but not intended to keep the audience there. Hope I am wrong, but I am unimpressed as of now.
It's a combination of BOTW/TOTK Assassin's Creed, Middle-Earth and Dragon's Dogma, how can it NOT be fun?
@@royolaniye6643 like I said. Seems like a bunch of fluff to distract from the lack of actual substance. Like the devs didn't have any genuine ideas. I imagine this game is going to get stale very quickly. Due to it having little to say there is just little originality and that gets boring fast, because like you said we have seen it before. Again, I hope I am wrong. Just don't see it breaking any molds. Just a cookie cutter copycat imo.
Black Desert, their other game has great graphics, environment and is probably the best action combat MMO there is. Take ideas from other hits and incorporate them into BDO and without the limitations of being an MMO. I think it will have the qualifications to be GOTY. I also see 80% black desert here. Which is probably older than the hits you are talking about.

Well you should doubt any games nowadays anyway. I'm just trying to point out that this game is far from being a copycat. Almost all the activities in the trailer are like SP version of BDO Lifeskills.
