- This time I'm at the event of the year for all crawler and scaler friends. This year, the Mammut Park Stadtoldendorf invites you to the big Superscale. Everyone who buys a ticket has the opportunity to drive on the grounds and really try out their sweetheart. Spectators can get in for 3€ and get infected by the world of model building.

One comment: It all looks very scale and realistic . . . until . . . . they operate the steering.
Which is waaaayyy too fast !!! It looks very un-scale and toy-like to turn the steering from lock to lock in 0.2 seconds LOL especially if it is a heavy vehicle!! (but even land rovers etc.)
These rc enthusiasts need someone to tell them to operate the steering slowly so that it looks scale like everything else does. Cheers !!

I can totally agree with you there!
So much effort is put into the vehicles. When I'm filming, I often notice that many people drive too fast and too fast. I try to do it with more feeling in my videos when I drive myself. That doesn't always work either.
But your comment shows how important it is to drive realistically! Everyone can take this as an example. But still, the main thing is to have fun :)

And I totally agree with you about driving too fast, and yes, I know that it is not easy to keep the movement constant and slow like the real thing. And thank you for reminding me and everyone else about the fact that RC is all about having fun, building, modifying and experimenting. I totally agree with you on that.
Steering is often too hectic and also the throttle response.
In my radio I lowered the steering speed to a minimum and the throttle curve is very flat.
On this event a guy asked me, why am I driving so slow... Because I can 😂
@@marcelloschulteescorsin7783 Good idea. I use exponential for the throttle so that the first part is very slow when adding throttle .... for off-road and crawling. 😇👍
