Been there done that and don't miss it living in the Philippines. We only have super typhoons (12 days without electric/water), earthquakes, and volcanoes to worry about.

Unless it's an emergency, why is anyone even out there??!!! I've lived in the Northern states 77 years. Drove into a blizzard one time. Got off the road asap and stayed in a Motel until roads were cleared!!

Some people like to have something to "brag" about. "Remember that storm when we got 29 inches of snow? Well, I drove 197 miles going 17 mph and didn't have any problems. I had to stop my car every few miles to see where the road was, but I didn't have any problems." And, yes, I know someone who has said almost those exact words to me. Numerous times. Anymore, I just say "well, good for you". It's ridiculous.

And that person's trips are always frivolous- no emergencies. Stay off the roads unless there is no choice. Make it a little easier for those who truly have to be out and about!

I live in dilworth Minnesota which is 3 miles east of fargo. I've been in this area 43 years and refuse to get out during the storm even a day or 2 after I'll let crews clean up roads before venturing out

"The roads look slippery. Also we can't see them. Two good reasons to keep driving the posted speed limit."

I take it you're not from the parts so I'll be nice. While that could help a little that would do more damage then good. There's these full little patches on the road, we call black ice, anyways hitting one of those at a slower speed is scary enough. Anyways in the change one has to suddenly stop even with "clear roads" in the wknter going fast isn't the way to go. Takes more time to stop and with that poor visibility you don't want to hit anyone. So in these parts it's usually better to have something with more power than speed. Even trucks and semis meet their demise though. Driving in those conditions isn't fun but it's a way if life so people can get to or from work. Many people ask why we don't move, so far all I can think of is that it's cheaper to live here than a majority of the nation. Plus being in the middle of the nation we can drive anywhere fairly easy.

Not ok to text and drive or even hold phone to ear while driving but hey its fine to film , adjust cam while driving in heavy snow / white outs...Nothing like bunch you tube directors rushing out into hazard weather to film. Here is your sign.

Covering the face with eyes is an obligation and not a Sunnah, and the evidence is that Aisha covered her face for Hajj when men taught her by the order of the Messenger. So does he remove the obligation, which is revealing the face in Hajj with a Sunnah, which we will not be punished for? The imposition is still imposed by another, and this is in all religions, and it does not prevent communication, because communication with a mind is not a face, as we communicate in an exam, so Ibn Hanbal is the correct.
