      @@cass1113 I lived in Corpus Christi for a year, worked for the Navy, NAS Corpus Christi VT-28. Moved back north and bought four snowmobiles! Still running Ski Doo but have a couple of Cats also.

    I grew up and lived in what typically is considered 3 of the coldest locations in the lower 48, Duluth MN, International Falls MN, Fargo ND. I now live in central Illinois and would gladly go back north to live. Remember people, you can put on more clothes to be comfortable than you can take off !

    Oh my! I’ve been in some snow but that mess is SERIOUS snow!!! I spent time in eastern Iowa and in the northeast, but your snow seems to be more intense! Man!!!

    I got stuck in Fargo because of the same blizzard years back. Running and aircraft engine outside. Drove my car in to a ditch. Bad

      Honestly you get used to it. I’m from Evanston, IL but I’ve been in Fargo for just about 10 years. The last two winters have been pretty bad but otherwise it’s not too terrible. We have a low crime rate, many jobs and it’s fairly inexpensive to live. That’s why I’ve stayed but I’m ready to move though. I need adventure lol

      @@dejaunajackson7666 Fargo seems like it would be a cool place, since you've got North Dakota State, and I'm sure other things as well. I bet Christmas was fun over there.
      I'm in Alabama.... originally from Michigan. We've had some freezing temps. But more than that, we have more rain lol

    Lucky for us it was a warm day with only a mild wind! Add 25 below zero and 50 mph winds to that snow and it can get a bit nasty.

    I live in Brooksville Florida now but maybe you could travel to NY Mills on hwy 10 say hi to my brothers ,thanks and stay warm.

      Colette' G. Funny! I lived in Nashville for twenty years. Now I live back in the northeast and I really do enjoy the snow during the winter months. Mind you, I use public transportation so I don’t have to drive in it: yay!!!!😁😁😁

      haha. I'm a storm chaser. I prefer weather. I lived in Burbank, CA for 4 months and hated it. No weather. Same stuff every day... boring..

    Aaron how do the locals there manage to go about their daily lives? I can't imagine the difficulties with getting to/from work, delivering parcels/mail, emergency services (ambulance, fire, law enforcement etc). Looks like it should all be drawn to a complete stand-still. :(

      I am from Fargo nd. and we just put it in 4 wheel drive and go and we are use to it and sometimes it fun to drive in

      You know when to stay home and when to go out and if u have to go out u drive slowly with your hazards flashing a place that usually takes you 5 mins to get to could take 10 0r 20 and u should have sand bags and a shovel and a winter survival kit always with you and sometimes you can’t even stop on time if it is slippery even if they sanded the streets and.you never wanna slam on your brakes to stop when it’s icy because u will slide you just pump them got anything else you want to ask

      My wife is a nurse here in Fargo and she has to be there no matter what. It can be a pain in the ass sometimes but we manage. 👍

    I live in Johannesburg, South Africa where it has only snowed 22 times in the last 103 years and NEVER like this, and no, we never have a break from our criminals at all....
    The last time it snowed was in 2007.

    imagine that....nobody out pumping gas towards the end of the video 🎅🎅
    still looks like a good day to air the truck tires down to ~10 psi and go to the local diner and have a hot cup of coffee while watching the wind and snow blow around.

      Get yourself some winter tires. You'll thank yourself. Expensive, yes but well worth it. Remove them as soon as temps stay above 50. Should get about 4 seasons out of them.

      Zues Toots we’re definitely looking into getting winter tires. Good thing we have a 4x4 pickup truck, otherwise we would have gotten stuck in snow for how many times I would not know.

      Define typical, we get blizzards all the time, depends on the system, in '97 '98 we had a blizzard every weekend, flooding in the spring ensued. You can CZcams fargo flood 97

      Up to 2 feet of snow and 50 miles an hour winds the fucking hell it wasn't a blizzard. One of the worst storms to hit in the past several years and you damn well know I've been around the state as long as you have!

      Grandma said when their family settled Crosby, ND., her dad drove them to school in winter with a horse and buckboard. They had a sod house, too, at first, and no one coming to plow them out back then. Lol

My Grandparents did the horse and sleigh and blankets with the heated stone under the bench when they were kids. We drove thru Fargo on the way back to Manitoba 3 days after the storm. We have 2 inches in Canada with grass showing.

    Lived in South Dakota for 6 years. It amazes me fucking stupid drivers up there are. "I DONT NEED NO SNOW TIRES", i truck through areas your stuck in with a winter tired equipped RWD 4door car.
    TIRES, TIRES, TIRES!! Its only thing in contact with the road.
