- Puerto Rico shaped José Berríos into the man he is today. Growing up in Bayamón - a suburb of San Juan - the Toronto Blue Jays starter loved family, school, baseball, and helping others more than anything else. Take a trip back home with him in this episode of Extra Innings presented by TD!
Jose was the best with the kids at an autograph session after a game last summer. My son will never forget meeting Jose. I was just happy this hero is one you don’t get disappointed in after you meet him.
