Lourdes is a treasure! He is always so excited, jumping and dancing around, whenever someone hits a home run or a run counts. He makes the games fun for everyone on the field and spectators.

Awesome video. Guy like Gurriel are what you call glue guys. They are so important to the fabric of a team and bringing everyone closer. He’s still got potential to get better as a player as well. I keep looking at the way he played in September last season when we were fighting tooth and nail to get into the playoffs. He wasn’t just the hottest hitter on our team in September but he was the hottest hitter in baseball! If he can ever play to that level more consistently he will be a star. We know it runs in the family.
This is what I was telling people a couple years back or so when there was trade rumors going around about Gurriel. I said this is a guy you don't trade, he is one of the core guys and he's part of the Blue Jays little "side group" with Gurriel, Vladdy, Bo, Teoscar, George etc you know the group Im talking about. Trading Gurriel would really mess with the team chemistry and breaking up that little "side group" of friends would kill chemistry, the positive energy he brings and would upset the guys since they all best buddies
I don't watch baseball but I see the clip of Lourdes making a sandcastle with a seed mote and had to learn more about this guy. What a treasure to the sport!

What I would like to see is, no matter the outcome of a game, it always needs to be fun. People like George, Lourdes, Vladdy show that but everyone needs to have that same charisma. Let it out. Hernandez has such a great demeanor as well. The more you have on a team the better. It makes it more entertaining for the fans and damn it really uplifts a team. The coaches must love having what they have got for a team. Just beautiful to watch. other teams have but not the same way.
I feel like baseball players have some of the best sports personalities in the world but for some reason we just don't get enough content about them. We rarely get behind the scenes, we rarely get players branching off and showing their life off the field. Maybe it's because they get paid so god damn much that they could careless about their outside image but man we would love it.
Me and My GF are both HUGE Lourdes fans. He might be my fav player on the Jays and this Blue Jays team is real tough to pick a favorite player as there is so many likable players. I hope the Blue Jays "winter tour" will start up again this year and Lourdes Gurriel will come to Calgary or Edmonton
Swear , i love Lourdes Gurriel!!.. i think he's the best player on the BLUE JAYS TEAM!. He just one of those players who just gets the job done!. He got a GREAT THROWING ARM AS WELL!. And he's a funny guy to around to.. I for one don't really say to much about TRADES with any teams or players in general, but i hope the JAYS don't trade LOURDES for many years to come?.. He's just to good!.
I have an "Inside"-xompli from us where it has now ended up on it :-) They were missing, so nice to see them. Behind the scenes is one of the best things that can happen to fans. Even if it's a bit censored :-). I think some would see the job as more romantic than it is otherwise. However, I would still like to have it :-)
