- Roger Federer in an incredible player that is amazing at improvising and inventing new shots. However, sometimes, he likes to have fun during exhibitions and practices and imitates or resembles other player's shots. Even in real matches he still occasionally uses the Sampras slam dunk, the Connors skyhook smash, the two-handed backhand lob, and many more shots all featured in this compilation.

THE REAL AMAZING THING HERE is 0:26 with already two balls in the hand he just catches the third with his middle finger LIKE A BOSS
I mean all tennis players should can catch a ball like that
i also can do that
bruh that's how everyone picks up balls, it's not intentional to flick someone off.
Yeah i also did it, till i broke my finger.
you must have never play tennis buddy to say that
I think it would be nice to show the actual shot of the original players.
Agree
For that u have to watch his matches regularly.

Names in Table Tennis: Backhand, Forehand, loop, smash, chop....
Names in tennis: The buggy banana grunting and jumping smash pass
@@yes3330 thats not true😂have you watched some videos about tt legends?
@@yes3330 You gotta be joking! 😂😂😂 Koki Niwa's chop block? Kreanga's backhand? Waldner's double bounce block off a topspin? Timo Boll's handswitch counter topspins? Fan Zhendong's backhand flick? Federer imitating Nadal made me laugh
A true gentleman

Federer's shot variety is unmatched by any player I've ever witnessed. When the final tally is counted he might not be the best player ever but he is the most talented. Some of the shots he hits...i mean it's a highlight reel, so you're expected something amazing and still he amazes you.
Jay S. Tremendous point. Djokovic or Nadal may finish with more slams. But no comparison Federer has most variety and skill.
That's because Federer played in Sampras era back in 1998 when he started his career all the way up to Nadal/Djokovic era present. Playing serve and volley to baseline game has helped him develop an all around variety game where he is a hybrid of both eras of Sampras and Nadal/Djokovic
@@RobertHurleyJr Nadal may finish with more slams because on one of those surfaces he becomes Superman. You take away his French Open titles and he's "just" another all-time great; you include the French and he's a GOAT candidate. He is the least of the Big Three for that very reason.
Take away Wimbledon and Federer has 12 slams.
Take away the Australian and Djokovic has 9 slams.
Take away the French and Nadal has 7 slams.
He's a great, great player, but not up to the standard of Djokovic or Federer.
@@srj34 he is the least of the big three because he dominates djokovic and federer on clay? lmao, that's a point in his favor, how about we take away federer and djokovic's hard court titles
@@HIMYMTR So your way is to take away two slams from Federer and Djokovic compared to one from Nadal? What am I missing?
Again: I took Federer's best venue away from him and he still has 12 slams. I took Djokovic's best venue from him and he has 9 slams. Nadal minus his cheat-code surface and he's got 7. What exactly don't you get about this? I would expect the best player of all time to be way up on the list even without his best surface. For instance:
Minus Wimbledon, with 12 slams Federer is two behind Sampras and one ahead of Borg.
Minus the Australian, with 9 slams Djokovic is two behind Borg, one ahead of Connors, Lendl, and Agassi.
Minus the French, with 7 slams Nadal is tied with Mats Wilander and McEnroe, one behind Connors, Lendl, and Agassi.
Djokovic is rather likely to add to that non-Australian total, maybe even catch Federer's non-Wimbledon total. Do you really think Nadal has three more slams in him outside of Roland Garros?
Respect for the commentators instantly recognising the shots and calling them out.
12:23 Federer and Djokovic amazing rally for about 50 seconds
Probably one of the best rally’s I’ve ever seen
6:23 the umpire's reaction is just priceless
Seeing Roger hit a 2 handed backhand is so cursed but I love it.
9:13 How have I never seen this? It's hilarious
"The Buggy Whip Banana Passing Shot"
If the ATP ever opens a dessert parlour...there's an item for the menu..
He´s not imitating anybody, he´s playing ant that is. All these shots arise spontaneously according to the play and the rival.
my speech ;-)
No
He was definitely imitating nadal though
@@theflyingblock121 Well yeah, it was an exhibition where the players frequently imitate each other for fun.
Thank you,was too lazy to type it myself
The beauty of Federer’s game is that he had all the shots in his arsenal
5:47 [voice cracks in French]
Rattenhoofd hah
lmao
Hahaha 😂
Hits a forehand* "OOOOS EEEEEHHHHH"
Rogers two handed backhand is a thing of beauty - like everything else he does.
Every two-hander he hits deprives us of the absolute majesty that is his one-hand backhand. That shot is the most picturesque shot in men's tennis; he looks more like a dashing bullfighter than a tennis player when he unleashes it
0:24 so no one is going to talk about how amazing he is at catching balls
That's why he's the greatest, he has a million tricks on his sleave! Such an amazing player
Federer: Imitating shots
Djokovic: Imitating postures
Thanos: *Perfectly balanced*
Has it much sense to say I 'll miss him? ... In any case, I will gifted having lived years of my life at the same time of this wonderful & awesome tennis player - for sure the best ever - so I could see him playing.
3:49 THE BEST!!! I DIED

Rename this video: Roger Federer improving other players' shots.
I think everybody use two-handed backhand bro.
huh?
Do you really believe that?
No they dont
No Federer uses a one hander.
I use one-handed backhand.
ROGER FEDERER NOT ONLY A TENNIS GENIUS BUT ALSO THE REAL SENSATION OF TENNIS SPORT 👍👍👍
Funfact: every player imitating roger 😅
You can't "boo" Roger Federer !!! There should be a law against it. This man deserves to be bowed at, not booed !!
I used to really despise rfed but over time and watching what he does, hats off to him he's unbelievable...He is the without question the GOAT..
Who has time to put all of this together?!! Amazing compilation
Love tennis more and more. Respect to the MAN
🐐 debate should not be an issue.
No one 🎾 player the skills, creativity, beauty of Roger Federer playing.
He actually tried the buggy whip forehand in this year's Roland Garros semifinal against nadal, he even screamed several times while hitting it, just like the exhibition matches
Roger Federer, the best player all the time !
Ever !💯
10 years from now, still this tennis of federal is immortal. The most charismatic and natural player of the game… what a classy man….
that marcos baghdatis bonus made my day hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Its not Baghdatis if it ain't at least 3 rackets.
@@srinitaaigaura yep & Fed destroyed his 3 years before Baghdatis's meltdown. So it's more like a Safin or Ivanisevic
If you were a true Federer fan you'd know he doesn't imitate anyone without making it obvious he is doing so
Love the Sampras Slam Dunk over head 💪🎾🏆
12:50 "aw shite"
10:30 is funny because at the time federer hit that 'jumping forehand', monfils wasn't even on the tour lol and even if he was nobody knew about him
Actually he was on the tour. He was no.1 in juniors

I think its two handed "forehand" not backhand
@@buggyfanatic6918 2:08
Yea I notice after I post but was too lazy to change. Santoro is the guy with two handed forehand.
He does copy Safin's one, and rightly so since it's the best
He is the GOAT, no matter how many more Grand Slams Djoker and Raffa will win. The way he plays makes him the GOAT
By that logic Dustin Brown is also a GOAT.He plays beautiful shots.lol
He is just simply the best..
I just love how the whip move from nadal goes with the grunt as a full package, even when he does it unironically the sound comes out xD I guess it's a pretty demanding move.
I can’t even imagine how tennis would be boring after this guy retires
Djokovic the Goat is there to save us. Oh, not you Fedtards sorry
Tamás Tóth What on Earth is wrong with you? Of course Nole is an outstanding tennis player along with Rafa ,but no one plays tennis nowadays the way Federer does. I don’t care about your opinion ,but Fed’s (old school) style is unmatched. It is all about the finesse which shows the real beauty of the game. The reason why everyone loves Federer is that he is different than everyone else and after he retires tennis would just be a game of POWER like squash.
Tamás Tóth fed was the bedt in his younger ages alright? Better than nole to be honest
Rafa will still be around
we loved Roger Federer. the first man to win 20 grand slam.
So good
All the best roger.a big fan I am. Love from Pakistan.
Djoko’s impressions are where it’s at😂

No wonder Alcaraz's idol was Federer. Such variety, skill, style.
He's *breathtaking*
Federer is a Masterpiece. No one can copy or be like Him.
He's like an anime villain who absorbs the opponent's power
The lob was Murray's style because it didn't work out? 3:01
It didn't worked out because you can not lob Karlović...
Valentin Fătu Murray Lobs always go in

Murray has the best lob in the world.
Increíble que saca lo mejor de los cracks
3:48 Best thing ive discovered in a while
incredible
Loved djokers reaction and rafas helpless look after being floored by Roger's brilliance
9:44 The "bullet" Delpo it makes no sense as a "shooting" definition; Federer started playing before Delpo and his forehand has always been his best shot (can do it in any way possible); without saying anything to Delpo forehand that's magnificent in its power.
Anyway if we want to talk about the specific video forehand taking as a reference a previous player there is only one that can mention; Ivan Lendl (because the forehand in extension long-line was part of his tennis repertoire).
Sry but I don't speak eng (I hope peoples understand my "concept").
Pete slam dunk is something else, greatest server ever and greatest smash ever... also greatest 2nd serve we will ever see
Came here after seeing Rivers retirement party at Laver Cup. A class act with a beautiful game. Humble guy. He will be missed
As an old guy I am LMAO at this. Thanks. Also it is so obvious that he is the best tennis player who ever lived. Eras you can't compare but yah. I said that.
Federer has just about every shot in his arsenal!

8:40 Santoro's forehand !!
when lopez put the racket in his mouth i was like "corona!"
his double handed backhand is better than many who play that shot
I'm pretty sure 14:14 fed is doing wawrinka's serve, who he's playing across from. That is the 2013 USO practice fed v waw. If you haven't seen it, it's one of my favorite court view tennis on youtube.
