    This is an absolutely amazing tutorial. Far better than the other lower-third videos on YT.

  • @midwestdocumentarycenterin1680

    What a terrific tutorial. I've been trying to figure out this process for...ever. This template will save time *and* offer great flexibility. I'm seriously grateful.

    2:27 It should be noted that this is the speed graph, not the position graph. This caught me up for a bit!

    Beautiful. Anchor points is another way to animate x-scale, but the box clip seems like it might be more efficient.

    My issue is after exporting the lower thirds as a mogrts file and import it in premier pro, the animation doesn't occur. They just show up with in the duration. But the animation occurs in aftereffects so I don't know why and it getting me worried. I've tried many solutions but nothing has changed.
    Any help would be appreciated

    The After Effects mogrt files slows down Premiere Pro, compared to Premerie mogrt.

    Does the width/height comp size of the AE lower third file limit the width/height that you can scale within Premier Pro then? So if you make your AE comp 600px wide, and in Premiere you have a name (for example) that is long and you scale the width of the name bar past 600px, will it still allow you to scale the width past the original AE comp width, or do you have to make your AE comp width (and/or height) big enough to accommodate all scenarios in Premiere Pro? I hope I explained my question well enough to make sense! Tnx!

    I know this video is a little out dated, but it works well. Though I'm having trouble with adding the text options to the essential graphics panel. I'm not getting an effects dropdown that shows the text color to add to it. Help?

    • @paulgerhard5170
      @paulgerhard5170 Před 3 měsíci

      yes, you need to add a new fill effect to the text and import that into the essential graphics panel, see the section on fill in the video

    I tried this. The motion for the background didn't work very well. It just appears and disappears. You don't see it move in or out.

    • @YeagerFilm
      @YeagerFilm Před 3 lety +1

      You might try checking the keyframes for your background layer. Sometimes if a layer appears and disappears, an extra keyframe may have accidently been added, moving the background layer immediately back to the original starting point. Which can make it appear and disappear like that. 👍
