Pete you could always ask Callaway to send you one of their strong cog (green dot) adapter so you can crank Paradym down to 6° and then put those two drivers head to head in new test.

Pete- you can get a green cog sleeve for Callaway that will allow 2* of adjustment. So you can take the Paradym down to 6* if you wanted. If itâs only 5 yards shorter on carry but in the fairway, that extra degree lower could improve the distance and still keep you in the fairway.
Dont even need to ask for a green cog, its now just a custom option that anyone can get
I'd take gap wedge from the fairway over a sand wedge from the rough, plus I know with me, over time the missed fairways will wiggle into my mind and I won't swing quite as free. With something I feel confident using, I get all the distance I need (considering the limitations of my swing đ) from swinging freely and confident, plus less lost balls overall đ€đŒ
We are not golf obsessed maniacs.... WE are SUPER GOLF Obsessed maniacs Peter!
đđđ
I think this will go the way of the armlock putter for you after missing too many fairways. Love the video as always!
Def one of my favorite golf series on all of CZcams, I love watching you build your bag every year. I appreciate the fair and open reviews on everything, awesome vid Pete!
Hey Pete, for ping drivers they actually have a very heavy head weight compared to other drivers. Thatâs why the stock shafts are normally counter balanced (i.e. Tensei orange). If you tried it out with a lighter sliding weight in the head or counter balanced shaft, the swing weight would probably feel a bit more proper. Also, I would recommend trying out TSR4 with the heavy weight in the back of the driver head
I looked at multiple drivers last year and was fitted for the Cobra LTDx LS. I found it easy to find the center of the face and great feel. Nothing has come out in 2023 that has me thinking about a change.
no one asked and no one cares. you're most likely a 21+ HCP
I swing the cobra LTDx.. such a good club
Same here. Its an amazing club.
Same got mine at new years, totally thought i wouldnât suit the ls model but loving it
@@XCygnusX Actually a 6 hdcp, but thanks for your reply. Cheers.
Love this Build my bag series! Since I don't have money to swap clubs every year, I'll watch you do it đ
great review, can't wait to see what fairway clubs you choose, maybe you should set a budget and try and acheive that in the bag
If I were you with that test set between to two drivers I would pick the Paradym. You could get the strong cog (green dot) to knock it down a bit. Plus when you are playing courses with tighter fairway you could move the weights from front to back to give you more spin without effecting the swing weight. You can't do that with the TaylorMade. With the TaylorMade If you want to get more control on tight courses from a club that you have already admitted is a little out of control you will need to loft it up OR buy different weights for the front and back to get the same swing weight as your bomber club.
Would loved to see Srixon and Wilsonâs new drivers in this especially the Wilson. It looks fantastic and has introduced AI tech like the others.
I found the off center strikes to drop spin way too much for my comfort with taylormade. Everything else about it I loved. But the Ping 430 LST went in the bag. It just sits a tick higher in spin, which kept me between the lines more, and allowed me to hit a lower ball off the tee and still have enough spin to keep it airborne and I love that. Itâs also the most stable feeling head and was incredibly forgiving. I think the Stealth 2 is great though. Definitely has the long ball in it
Looks from the top have to go titleist but the one iv gone for is the g430 sound feel and performance came out on top for me đ
This definitely makes my choice easier. I had a hard time hitting the Stealth during a fitting last year, so I'll probably opt for the Callaway since it's more forgiving.
I really enjoyed that review Peter. At some point, I hope you take a look at Mizunos' new driver as well.
Iâm so happy that build my bag is back!! Continue your great work Pete!
I always love the build me bag series, can't wait for the rest of the bag đđ
Congratulations đ

I literally just got fitted and tried all these drivers, except Srixon ZX5 instead of the Cobra. Man of man did the Titleist hit it out of the park for me, the others definately werent bad at all but the speed, distance, forgiveness and dispersion were incredible on the TSR3. I was hitting it between 10-15 meters longer than the other clubs, i even hit one 300 meters/330 yards which is huge for me, i was generally getting around the 280 meter mark though which I'm hugely impressed with.
TaylorMade driver is the best. Good review:)
Was not expecting that! seemed you were bigging up the Calloway then did a 180 turn. Still think it's an excellent choice. Looking forward to the next instalment
Your very lucky to have a choice of all them drivers I think Iâd still go for the ping g430 tbh as a senior golfer distance is not an issue for me just hitting fairways is my priority great vid though
Yeah the Titleist Drivers have ways looked the best behind the ball and I do work the ball from the tee. Distance off the tee has never been an issue for me (Iâm 6â5â and have been a power lifter for a long time). I went away from Titleist when I got my G425 but Iâm pretty sure Iâm going back.
A brilliant upload, good fun! A concise and thorough evaluation, that gives a solid starting point for those looking to add the newest driver to the bag. (The TaylorMade Stealth 2+ made my bag as wellđ!) Keep doing what you do đâŒïž
i used the steath plus last year and loved it just been fitted for the steath plus 2 can't wait to get it out on the course
Just gone for a fitting today and the best driver from my results was the Stealth 2 Plus! I thought Iâd come out with the Ping or the Callaway from all the reviews, as Iâm not a great player. So I was very surprised! But my best shot was definitely with the Stealth and was like a rocket. Really excited to have it now, canât wait for it to turn up!
You haven't had the missed hits on the course yet. You will be trading soon.
Congratulations đ

I had the same! Everyone tells me the pings are more forgiving etc. But I had a g400 that never left the bag and the g430 just felt awful in my hands!
For whatever reason the Taylor made stuff just feels so much better at address.
I was averaging 230 with my old ping and 280 with the Taylormade plus I'm now getting 250 out of the stealth 2 3 wood.
Great video as always Pete! My Triple diamond ships next week.
BUILD THE BAG! I love these⊠Golf obsessed indeed.
I havenât watched this yet, but I predict you choose the Callaway paradigm. Even though, you should be going with the stealth 2 for loyalty and Titleist tsR3 for all around actual performance.
Great video Pete however I feel the dynapower should have been included. Not sure if you got to test it or not but the dyna carbon is a really good driver and should be put head to head with the big names
Great video. Might have to go have a proper look at this driver!
Fairway finder. You have more control on your iron shots into the green. Being in the rough a bit longer and the control on the second shot can become an issue.
I would imaging, being a pro, he is aware of this...
Titleist takes looks from all angles in my opinion. With that said, whichever feels the best (and drives confidence up) is the one I'd pick and I generally vibe well with Callaway drivers with Titleist being a close second.
After seeing your final selection I'm surprised you didn't go the other way. With a real-world difference of 6 to 7 paces, which is very little, the more consistent driver would win for me. Loft adjustability is a sales gimic and for many drivers a necessary byproduct of providing face adjustment (opened or closed). There are also other knobs to turn for dynamic loft adjustment which can easily deal with head limitations. With all that said, there really isn't a wrong choice... they're all good drivers.
I tested the Ping, Taylormade and Callaway, I really wanted the Taylormade to come out on top to match the rest of my bag but I was hitting the Callaway an extra 10-15 yards on good strikes but only around 5 yards longer than my current M6 driver.
Congratulations đ

I was not expecting the stealth to make the bag. With all the forgiveness of the paradym I thought for sure that was going to be the pick.

Pete. Ping would feel harder to swing due to ping heads weighing more than the other heads, this being why they recommend counterbalance shafts. Using the same shafts in all drivers wonât suit them always. Perhaps change the weight in the ping to a lighter weight and give it a go. Otherwise great video!
Awesome point.
Petes never gonna choose the Ping. Even tho it is more accurate, it always comes behind in the distance test. And he is all about that one extra yard!! đ
Just got fit into the Paradym triple diamond with a Fujikura speeder NX shaft. Thing is a rocket and was more forgiving than I expected. I absolutely hated the cobra and ping. Could not get along with them. The stealth was ok but the Paradym was just more comfortable
Tsr all the day long both for looks and feel! Rocking the tsr4 myself
Hey Pete, great video as always! I am curious though because of the forgiveness that the Paradym had over the Stealth 2, that you ended up with the Stealth 2 in the bag. Sure, it would require a club up on the second shot in comparison but the ability to course manage seems more achievable. With that said though this is CZcams golf, so grip it and rip it! Looking forward to seeing absolute bombs with the Stealth 2.
Congratulations đ

Great personal review, I thought you'd go Callaway but your need to outdrive Carter , Matt and Rick meant you were always going with Stealth 2. đ
love to see you review the new yonex driver ... new shaft with specific swing preference ,...and one with a double kick point ????
For me the most important thing is dispersion..I have a G425 and the dispersion of that club with
A stiff shaft for me personally is unreal..just the noise..so might have a look at G430 or new more forgiving stealth 2 plus..alledgedly đ
I have had taylormade in the bag for a long time. I've hit all the new drivers this year and I have to say the stealth looks cool but... I just traded my m5 for a paradym triple diamond. It's super forgiving and long. Looking forward to getting it in and hitting it.
Peter Finch....just lovin it! Lol!
Been looking forward to this video for weeks!! Not disappointed!

As others have said try the Callaway with the strong cog. Couldnât tell if you had the 8 or 9* but you can get an 8 and take it down 2.
You still got 334 out of the Callaway and it was more forgiving. Gotta ask yourself if those extra few yards out of the TM are worth it too you. I'd be over the moon driving it 334 while consistently keeping it on the fairway, but that's just my high handicap perspective.
No perfectly valid thinking. I donât think between the two there was a wrong choice tbh
Heâs always been a TM fanboy, no surprise here
If it feels right go with it, but there is something to be said about being in the fairway, I think to many times we get hung up on a couple more yards rather then something that finds the short grass.
Srixon MK II 5 LS not being in this I think is going to be a miss. Numbers coming from that club are impressive
Agreed. About to move to the zx7 mkii. Is it true a zx7 mkii LS is coming?
Agree. I'm hearing some very goof things about the new srixon drivers
I recently just got fitted and also found that the Stealth 2 plus was the best driver out of any that I tried. I went in wanting a Paradigm and left with the Stealth.
Congratulations đ

Peter I understand your reservation about the Cobra club. For no discernable reason I don't get on with Taylor made drivers. I know they are excellent clubs but I haven't been able to put a good swing on one, including the new stealth line. Sometimes a club won't work for you.

Great video Pete
Have you tried to get your hands on a Callaway tour strong adapter? Would be interesting to see how the Paradym performs at six degrees.
Oh boy here we go again! Pete smashing drivers for the season yes please
Nice one peter . Ive just booked a fitting
Watching this video, I still have absolutely no idea whether you were testing Stealth 2 plus or Stealth 2 standard and Cobra Aerojet standard or Cobra Aerojet LS....I mean was the edited video even checked over đ đ€Ł
Love your videos Peter but I could have picked the driver you will go with before I started to watch đđ
Strange results with the cobra, I found the opposite faster with it than anything else around 113mph. It just matched great for me with the kai'li white 60x. Strange old game
I love the look of the Aerojet
You hammered the Mizuno!
Love this video. I am going to get fit for a driver on Saturday. And my hopes are the paradym or the stealth 2 plus. I have hit both on the range and Iâm the sim and they both are similar. The stealth had a little faster ball speed on center hits. But I need the fitter to dial these in for me! Iâm really looking forward to this and this video made it so much more exciting!
iâd look at either the paradym or g430. i didnt see much of a difference between the paradym and the triple diamond version spin and distance wise, maybe a little higher on the regular one.
@@Captainchaos14 I have the G425 now. Itâs nice but I def get better results with the paradym. I hit the stealth 2 plus a few times a well and it was extremely similar to the g425. I am gonna test all the new drivers and have everyone built to the perfect spec for me so I get the absolute best one for my swing. I just think itâs gonna come down to the paradym or the stealth 2 plus for me.
At this point, I hit like whilst the advert is playing at the start of the video, because Iâm that confident with Pete it will be a banger
A lot of good Drivers in the market at the moment. I thought the Mizuno sounded the best but gotta pick what suits you.
Loving the new Aerojet.
Pete! You should definitely try the Srixon ZX5 LS...
Would love to see how much better this is than your previous driver pick the rogue st triple diamond. Not just distance and ball speed but your strokes gained. My hunch says unlikely to be a massive gap.
My hunch says zero gap
@@haydenobst534 My first Trackman fitting was in 2016 to the Callaway Great Big Bertha. I've since been fitted about 10 times. Each time they've recommended a different driver (Paradym was the latest). But when I go back to the data the numbers for the recommended drivers and shafts are pretty much identical. I'm lucky enough to be naturally high launch and low spin, but I've not seen any difference. You could maybe make an argument that the fact I hit my 2022 driver the same distance as my 2016 driver despite the ravages of age (I'm 61) and its affect on my swingspeed indicates the newer drivers have helped me keep up, except my swingspeed also hasn't budged.
Its kind of funny watching this video I allredy knew from the start what driver i would be... then i reach the end and bamm i wasnt wrong... For you Peter its allready decided before hand watching your reviews of these drivers.. So my gues is your gonna go with Stealth 2.. Jugging from the review thats kind of the winner even before this video got out đ
I love the choice Pete!
I found similar things in my testing today and ultimately ended with a stealth 2 plus with a tour ad xc 7-x
Peter Finch the man the myth the legend! My favorite series
TSR3 super forgiving. Low spinning and a monster. Best looking
Literally just this week finished testing all the above, as a 1 Hcap per swinging around 105-110, the answer was easy.. stealth best bar far in length worse by million miles in drop offs on off centre.. Titleist just nothing, not good not bad a bit bland and on a separate note the best results only came from up market ADI shaft so cost of club would be ÂŁ750.. cobra was to erratic, leaving callaway and ping, both brilliant but callaway was good but for my eye just looked hooded and played tricks with me in hitting it leaving the Ping G430 LST which took it easily as although not longest just couldnât miss fairways..interesting to see your thoughts process though Mr Finch. đđđ„đ„
I got to test the stealth 2 and paradym tripple diamond recently and the paradym hit my pb once i hit the center at 381 yards. It felt so powerful off the face and the stealth felt like it was holding back.
Swing speed 128mph.
Youâre so coolâŠ
Excellent content. Any chance to get review of the new mizuno drivers?
Would have reeeeally liked to see a dispersion chart. Because Iâm certain the stealth 2 didnât have the best dispersion. In fact Iâd bet close to the worst. But everyone wants that extra 10 yards⊠in the bush or not.
I tested those drivers and I was the same, when I hit the stealth2 well, it was good, but the paradym was more forgiving....stayed with my old callaway, it basically tied the paradym. Can't wait to see what else you add to the bag this year!
Iâd love to see you try this yearâs Wilson clubs âłïž
I like the video. Would have liked to see you take the shaft from the Stealth and put it in the Ping and the Cobra and hit a few to see what the speeds were with that shaft.
Congratulations đ

interesting that you havnt considered the new Mizuno range which by all accounts are a huge improvement on their previous drivers
They are good, tested them recently czcams.com/video/L3W0c-68sH0/video.html
I tested all of these. Cobra shocked me. Ping spun too much. TaylorMade was a little unforgiving but a bomber. TSR was too similar to my TSIâŠso. Paradym is soon-to-be in my bag
Hi Peter , i'm a beginner so my comment doesn't carry much weight,,,,,However ! I remember 3 years ago i stopped a video of you playing against Rick and some other dudes and i zoomed to see what driver you were using a cause your driving was so solid and this is what i saw "ping" and i subscribe to your channel ,but i agree with 1 thing , ping is not the better looking đ but this said even do your billions of times better then i am , i notice something,,,,,please don't take it badly . I don't zoom in no more "sorry Pete" but love your work among all my CZcams subscriptions only a few have the bell activated and your among the few , sincerely Marc
Can't wait for spring here in Canada
Great video,I thought youâd sacrifice a little distance for accuracy tbh. Sorry about the 3 wood comment on twitter đ
Peter what about the new mizuno driver ?
Did a spot on it during the Japanese clubs vid on my channel
I would have definitely have gone for the callaway with the numbers you had. Dont care about 10 more yards if it's in the pondđ€Łđ
I have only tested the titleist so far and I think it is an amazing driver. So would I go for one right now it definitely would be it
Tbh either of those drivers would be awesome, just something a little extra about the Stealth
The average golfer would benefit far more from dispersion data in these videos than ball speed - would love to see this data incorporated (again) in the future. Great video.
That closing shot đ€đ€đ€
New Mizuno driver needs to be looked at aswell!
If you went Stealth itâs the wrong choice. Predictable too I have to say.
Each year youâve gone for âthatâ driver thatâs given you marginal yards. But left you in rough more so that the driver that was 5-10 behind.
Try the fairway finder and I bet you see a massive difference in your scores or at least chances. It does make a difference.
The stealth doesnât have the best tolerance. Thereâs something in that carbon or maybe the twist face that means if you catch it off centre slightly it likes to spray and spin.
Itâs not like your short with the Callaway.
I remember years ago I had a Titleist 983. Wasnât the longest club but I could hit a target with it. Through the glitz and glam of new drivers I swapped it and regretted it later.
I felt the same about the stealth 2+ as Peter did about the cobrađ hear everybody smashing it and tried it but just couldnât make it work unfortunately
Wow, cranked down to 6 degrees with an open face. That's big time bomber stuff. I'll stick with my Paradym 8 degree cranked up to 9 đ
Pete đ your choice, but being a golfer depending on who's, everyone has their own preference. Accuracy depends on a golfer's swing to get that distance. Honestly I'm still using my Sim2 driver and it has been the best for me, but I also wanted to test out the Stealth 2 to see how different it is between my Sim2 driver. If I do want to make a change. The look and feel and performance is the way for some golfers.
Always been a callaway and ping player but went in with an open mind and even threw in the cobra for good luck. Never played taylormade drivers as I just never liked the look over them and always sliced them with been so flat on the lie angle. The stealth 2 won hands down for me and the fitter had me try the original stealth. After a second fitting session I found hardly no difference at all except I liked the matt crown of the original and as they were on offer at ÂŁ399 brand new it was an easy decision for me so the stealth plus original is firmly in the bag now
havnt watched the channel in a while and looks like you've been in a good paddock
Yeah definitely get your hands on the Callaway tour strong sleeve and then see what the comparison is like
what are the grips that you use? i tried the jumbo max! which were great but i couldn't work the ball right to left as a righty
You're reviews are so accurate Great video Peteđ
Glad you like them!
