Cool as usual, I used to be a core Redmi advocate, but I noticed their phones always develops software issues after you ve used them for close to 2 years. They start crashing. Then also when you upgrade the software, the device becomes very unstable. I'll rather go for A54 for this price range

I have Xiaomi Mi lite 11 5g NE phone and I am really satisfied. But looking into buying a new one because of the dual sim possibility. I think Redmi Note 12 pro + would suit me well, it has dual sim and charge fast, but I just learned that there is no port for SD card.. What do you think? Any reccomendations?
If you have small hands, the phone may be too big for you; an SD card will not be a problem.

The 120W brick included in the box is ridiculous
for me personally it's really hard to recommend especially with the fact that the galaxy a34 and a54 exist. the a34 having the same specs which might even provide better performance and the a54 being an all-round better device for 8k naira more. after the redmi note 10 pro it's not been going so well for redmi, every phone they release samsung, infinix, tecno always has response if not a better one at that for their pro models at least. maybe the non pro plus variants might stand a chance but the pro plus just aint it anymore.
You forget to add redmi is cheaper and comes with accessories out of the box
@@Efeogiden coming with accessories doesn’t really have any impact on the main phone experience. The a34 and a54 still provide better performance, cameras and software stability than the the redmi series.

@@abumaleekmj8911 the a54 uses the exynos 1380 which from tests has shown improved performance and sufficiency so there no issue with the a54. The a34 how ever uses the same chipset as the redmi note 12 pro plus 5g and is significantly cheaper and offers better performance than the note 12 pro plus 5g despite using the same chipset as it. If you’re going to say that “well the redmi not 12 pro plus comes with a charger and a case”, for the a34 you can get both a fast charger and a case that would still cost cheaper than the overall price of the redmi note 12 pro plus 5g.

Seriously the virtual ram in mobile devices look more like a marketing stunt 😅. Tbh I don't even feel it works, compared to swaps in PC
For me, it's not part of what I'd ever consider when buying a phone. I won't even pay extra for 12GB actual RAM if there's an 8GB version. So unnecessary for my needs in a phone.
Virtual ram works well I have seen the difference when I switch to virtual ram my fone tends to keep more app in the background

200MP camera is just a marketing hoax to boost the hype, it has nothing more than a Samsung A54, Oppo Reno 8/9 or even Tecno Camon 19 5G
I think Xiaomi isn't as aggressive as they used to be. However, no midrange phone is offering 100% or even 90% of the latest and greatest hardware & software, which is why they're tagged midrange phones to begin with. Just choose one that appeals to your needs and will get major software updates.
