This is true. You are free to help out others as much as you can because thats in your nature. But you cant expect that same support from them because its not in their nature.
I think it was Mike Tyson who once said, "Eventually, everyone will betray you" and it's true. It took me years to realise how often I was betrayed, not just by friends, but also by close family members. I have no contact with my family any more and am deliberately friendless and I'm fine with that. To be completely honest, I find most people to nothing more than hard work and I'd much rather work hard for my own selfish reasons than invest five minutes of my time in them.

Right facts I know friends I helped at their absolute worst. I used to always check up and make sure they were good. Nowadays I don’t even receive a phone call from those so called friends, it made me learn to distance myself. People only want you around when you can be of use to them, nothing more nothing less. The moment they don’t need you, you mean absolutely nothing to them. I also have a sister like that, lol she’s in for a rude awakening when reality finally smacks her.
Humanity has survived so far because of cooperation. The happiest people are those that have community while the most depressed people are alone so I'll have to disagree on this one, if you can't expect from a friend and vice versa then you're not friends after all a friend in need is a friend indeed
I'm not with the co dependency..I help others out of generosity, not because I want a favor from them in the future. I get my favor from GOD Only. Therfore I owe no human being anything!!! and I'm totally fine with being alone. After all I was born in this world alone, & I'll die alone.💯 #GOD #BLESS YOU🙏🏾
