Ive had my Holbeins for a few years now and I still have not had to replace any of them yet via open stick so they do last a good while, so you get your moneys worth. They are one of my favorites to use.

How amazing! My fiance bought me a 150 set of prismacolor pencils for my birthday - I've wanted them for the longest time but they're not easily accessible in the UK and they are extremely expensive here - my 150 set in GBP translated to $226, which is around $100 more than on the Blick website. Because of this, Holbeins are totally out of the question because they're just so unattainable. I like that this giveaway isn't restricted to US only, it's nice to get a look in as an English girl :) thank you ❤
I can’t wait to try these out a bit more. I love the idea of the 36 tritones. I have a few of the pastels but would love to get just those basic 36 colors. Your tritone workbooks are my very favorite thing that you do. I think I have almost all my pencils that you have the tritone workbook already sketched out. I like the pencil cases with individual loops. I know the have cases that fit more pencils in the 3 loop ones but I am hoping they make more larger sizes in the single loop.

I have never used the Holbien colored pencils. I have heard good things and would like to try them at a later date. I want to get more pastel colors for some ideas in my colorings. Glad you enjoy them! I tend to like the cases with single slots instead of clumps of three, I find it hard to get the pencil in and out of the slots with other pencils. Just my thoughts, glad your enjoying drawing again!
I have half a dozen or more of those cases in many colors. I love them as well. They protect my pencils when traveling or just keeping them on the shelf at home!
You said you’ve not used your Prismacolors so you may wanna go bad and see how you like them. I’d love to see a video on that and see your reaction and whatnot. Keep up the great work. ❤

I get really frustrated with my Polychomos and the Metallic writing it is Gold on ever pencil and you gotta hold in in stage light. Yes they are crumbly like Prisma color. Thank you for sharing

I splurged & bought a 24 pack. I have only swatched them partly because of the crumbly issue. I got back into coloring when I came across my Moms colored pencils. I was really surprised to find a set of prismacolor pencils mixed in them. Slowly getting back into coloring & really enjoy your videos as yohr style reminds me of Moms 😃. Thanks for sharing.

I really love you swatch sheets too! I go back and forth between making time to color vs. not having time to color (work, school, life). I've noticed the strange choices in the trays for colored pencils, too! I think the tray colors are chosen to make the different set-choices easy for the company to fill. Just a thought.
