    it only took 13 minutes to get it apart. some of the lame local shops take months to rebuild a top end.

    My Pittsburg harbor freight socket ratchet set fits the spark plug hole on every yfz450 I’ve work on I’ve used it on a 06yfz and all the way up to 2020 yfz450 save the money you don’t need a special motion pro one

    put a long screw driver in the spark plug hole and it will tell you when you are on a compression stroke.

    Hello, Great Video! Easy To Follow And Very Informative. Have A Question I Recently Bought A 2004 yfz 450 And Noticed Coolant Mixed With With The Oil. Could It Be A Head Gasket Issue? Thanks In Advance.

    You can get a thin wall spark plug socket at your local AutoZone or probably any auto parts dealer locally I got mine at AutoZone for like 10 bucks oh, just remember you have to probably pick the sockets up and compare them and make sure they are truly a thin wall

    Do you have to empty any oil to replace the timing cover plugs? Or can I just remove them

    Help! I recently bought a 2005 yfz 450 bike throws out a lot of smoke from exhaust at all times. Bike turns on just fine and runs good. What could it be? Thanks

    • @PartzillaParts
      @PartzillaParts  Před 5 lety +4

      Blue smoke is oil from bad rings. White smoke is coolant. Both require a rebuild.

    Hey there I have a question about the 2005 yfz 450 special edition ATV since they have a poor oil system could I just order a 2007 oil pump, case cover and nozzle and use them on my 05?

    • @PartzillaParts
      @PartzillaParts  Před 5 lety

      If they are not the same part number, it would be trial and error to see if it works. They don't give us compatibility specs.

    • @JERJER1990
      @JERJER1990 Před 5 lety

      Ok well I just took the case cover off to see if I have the upgraded nozzle it doesn't and there is alot of sheen it the filter so I'm looking at atleast a top end rebuild anyway so it wont be ride able this season😂
