South Korea isn't for the faint hearted. The amount & diversity of their seafood is unreal, and scary, next stop on the bucket list: North Korea. Nooot! #korea #southkorea #radicalliving
My Korean husband has some doubts whether the octopus was released into a habitat where it'll find adequate sources of food. Not all watery environments are "created equal."
I loved this video! Super interesting to see what Korea is like 😁 the sink shower would be a challenge for washing long hair 😅 and it was really lovely that you freed that octopus, they are really intelligent animals. It is really sad to see them being sold alive like that. I'm happy you changed the fate of that one little octopus 🐙🙂
@@RadicalLiving oh my God! That is cruel and barbaric!! 😳😢 And they seem so civilized! Japanese do not have much sympathy for the dolphins and whales either!
@@lenitaa7938Bruh, America slaughters way more animals than Japan or Korea. You think cows etc. can’t feel pain and suffering? This is literally speciesism, picking and choosing not real morality. Japan doesn’t consume nearly as much meat btw and 90% of people have never eaten whale or dolphin. Americans just sensationalize everything to look down on other countries, rather than looking at their own faults
Letting out that octopus was really nice of you. They're such intelligent creatures and to think they get killed and eaten in such a barbaric way, unbelievable.
My Korean friend took me to the markets to eat the "living" octopus but there was no way I was going to. I should have saved it like you did. I was also confused with the shower and laughed at the line for people taking photos at Gyeongju! I need to revisit Korea as I was only there for two weeks and missed out on so many things.
@@ak5659 Yes, there is a drain in the floor! In Korea, most of the bathrooms are "wet rooms" where the whole bathroom is waterproofed. It makes cleaning really easy because you can just spray cleaner everywhere, scrub things down, then rinse everything off with the shower head.
@@ak5659 Yes, there is a drain in the bathroom. Scandinavian homes are designed with drainage in the bathroom as well, as far as I remember, so this is not an uncommon feature. Also, the type of shower in the video is unusual for Koreans too. I don't know where he stayed, but by the look of it, this seems like a rental home. If it were in Seoul, housing prices would be extremely high, making Berlin a real bargain in comparison. It's like a compact night train shower setup where everything has to be super efficient. If you visit typical Korean households, you'll find the more conventional shower setup.
Idk what's more impressive...Radical Living willing to go buck naked to show us how Korean showers work or going through the painstaking effort to free that octopus! Great vid as usual! Eagerly waiting to see where you travel to next
In Korea there is always a drain on the bathroom floor except in hotels. Just spill water on the floor and imagine the entire bathroom as a shower stall and take a shower. but that bathroom looks so uncomfortable...In Korea the water is very soft and there is very little Kalk because the ground is composed of granite, not limestone.. So we don't wipe dry after washing dishes and let the water evaporate without wiping the floor after taking a shower. When I first came to Europe, the hardest thing to adapt to was water. I've never cared about Kalk in Korea, but here I have to be very careful about spilling water on the floor..lol
Love your videos man. The shower scene was hilarious. Can I get a Knife 🤣🤣reminds me the first time I walked into a Suchi place (not my choice) and the meager servings came with chopsticks. I called the waitress back and said, I am a neanderthal unable to use such sophisticated devices, could you please bring me a fork or a spoon? She smiled and returned with a spoon and a fork.
My Japanese roommate taught me how to use chopstick to pry food into pieces when there's no knife. The trick to chopsticks is that you hold the bottom one in place. It's not supposed to move. Hold it in place with your thumb and ring finger. You use the last joints of your index and middle fingers to move the top one only.
Many Korean restaurants have forks ready for kids and foreigners who don't know how to use chopsticks. BTW, I realized it's not the case in China. I don't know about Japan.
I got to know u with videos introducing clubs in berlin at the very beginning, but I didnt totally expect to see you in Korea. damn😂😂. Wish you enjoyed the trip in korea.
I went to Korea and saw in the marketplace one of these octopuses taken out of container, sliced alive into 1-2cm bits and when the person ate them the bits were still wiggling!
I love those Korean bathrooms. You can easily multitask, like washing your hair while sitting on the toilet and doing your business. It saves so much time :D
I'm loving the fact that you freed the octopus! And I have so many questions lol did you really fall on the ground when you accidentally got in North Korea or you are simply an awesome actor? Ps. Hentai and porn with octopus is typical fom Japan, not SK, but it made me laugh so much anyway lmao Love your humor, keep going pls!!!
Okay, was ist das Ding bei 2:38? Man kann die Dinger lebend essen?? Igitt. Aber super das du den einen Tintenfisch gerettet hast, der hatte ja echt Glück mit dir.
Hey Radical Living, have you heard of Calvin and Habbs? They are two guys (one from Germany, the other from Austria) who now live in New York and post comedic sketches.
This is my last travel vlog for a while^^ next stop: North Korea
NOT, they wouldn't let me leave again 😅
Ahahhaha 😀😀😀 you made my day Sir 🤣🤣

Letting the octopus go was so wholesome!
100%
Hope it was not an invasive species, but if only one might be ok.
Yeah, I was worried about the little Octopussy! ☺️😂👍
Buy and release.
Was realy the best Idee
I'm so happy that he freed the octopus, that shows what a beautiful heart he has
waste of food
But he was holding that poor creature before like a brute! Inexcusable ☹️
@@bobbyhill5067 it’s probably smarter than you.
Now octopus will be fish food... 😉

Let’s all agree the best part was freeing the octopus
no, accidentally walking into North Korea
Yes!!!!
4:05 you freed the little guy! That is very wholesome
I'm from Korea, and that's why I was shocked that Germans go to spas without clothes lol
I was like, why don't they wear any clothes?! OMG😱
Japan is nude too, but it is segregated by what you have hanging.

haha how can you not be nude in a sauna xD

I believe it would be spot on reincarnation and destiny for horrible people who were in last life…like sicko snufflers.
The "free octopus move" reminded me when we saved hamsters and rabbits from a french market as 7th graders in school.
The thing that made me most uncomfortable was the poor octopus... and then you released them! 😇😄
Hope he's doing well😸
Thank you so much for letting the octopus go back to mother nature👍👍👍
Heheha as a Korean i laughed a lot btw loved to see you free that octopus 🫶
