Brilliant. Love the low flying stuff. And that’s an excellent shot from the cockpit with the 2 hawks in formation showing in the mirrors. Absolutely brilliant shot. Might need to get a screenshot of that somehow and use it as my PCs wallpaper 🙂
As a pilot I'm sure you're probably a bit sick of listening to the sounds of your jet. But as a person who enjoys listening to them I have to say that I am pretty disappointed when people insist on putting music over the top of such a good video. It might be nice music, but honestly I don't appreciate it much. Thanks 😁

Fun to disallow screen rotation on the iphone and keep the horizon level through the flight. Feels like you're in the cockpit (a bit). Can I join you one day? I used to watch the Lightning jets roar through Glen Affric 45 years ago.
+i8thegovernment The lines on the top of the canopy? that is 'detcord' (explosive detonation cord) that shatters the canopy before the pilots and seat go through it on ejection.

The hawk costs about £4500 an hour to fly... so unless your on more than 40k a year, it would cost the government more 😂

This is why it was a quantum leap forward from the Mk1 Hawk. Made the conversion to front line jet OCU much easier.

RCAF. Saw afterwards that this was RAF. The RCAF also flies the Hawk as part of their student jet training program, part of NATO.
