Please keep this format, Heidi. It's great seeing 5 five captivating, yet alarming movies I need to watch at a time. The plot explanations are welcome and enjoyable. Thank you for your great videos.
I have seen two of these movies:would you rather and high tension.would you rather will become more interesting and intense as the movie goes on. high tension is the type of situation that will blind side the hell out of you.
Omg High Tension was CRAZY!! I totally recommend that movie for people to watch. The ending was insane, and I do agree how it blind sides the hell out of you. I love the French horror films though. They usually make the best. Like Martyrs (2008 obviously not the remake) and I really loved RAW. Anyway Yeah, I High Tension was good. I haven't seen the others though on this list yet, but I plan to watch them!
Before I go looking for it, is High Tension in English or no? I really was trying to watch Martyrs a few weeks ago, but I can only find a french version of it so I didn't bother to finish it. I as wondering if High Tension is the same way?
I feel like Would You Rather on here, the ending struck me for a week after I saw it Spoilers: So a girl named Iris is trying to get a job to pay for her brother's medical bills who has Leukemia, and a very rich man invites her to a dinner with other struggling people financially. Basically he makes them play a twisted game of Would You Rather where people die, stab eachother, drown, slit their eyes open, shock eachother, whip eachother, etc, until Iris is the last standing and she gets the money. The gets home the next day and then goes to find her brother to tell him the good news. She finds him lying in bed, presumably sleeping, but it turns out that he overdosed and is now dead. Another movie I would add is The Mist. The Mist follows a group of 40-50 people who are locked in a grocery store from this mysterious mist that flooded the town. I'll cut straight to the ending, 5 people escape in a car, our main dad, his son, his girl friend (not girlfriend) who works at the grocery store, and an elderly couple. Their car breaks down in the mist, and they are thinking about killing themselve. But there's only 4 bullets for 5 people. So then there's no noise and a pan out shout of the car, and you hear 4 gunshots. It's only the father left, who, YES, SHOT HIS OWN 8 YEAR OLD SON. He then gets out of his car to get eaten by the monsters in the mist, but all of a sudden a vehicle comes along and it's a tank, and then the mist clears up and there's 100s of vehicles and people who have cleared the mist, leaving our protagonist knowing that if he waited a few seconds, everyone would be alive.
I watched the Goodnight Mommy movie yesterday with my brother. He is 13 years old, and I was thinking if I shouldn't let him watch because it might traumatize him. He said he can handle it though. His first appointment with the therapist is at 1:00pm today
Yes. Please make more 5 movies to watch. I watched “the chalk lines” yesterday based off your suggestion. As a mother it was like watching a nightmare in real life. (And yes I did like it. )
It would be helpful if in your description or in a comment, you write out a quick list of the movies? I know you’d rather me rewatch the video to get the titles, but it would be nice if the info was pinned or something! Thanks!
Would you rather is actually one of the most depressing movies ive ever seen just from how bleak it is and then that ending just absolutely destroys you
I watched The Tale of two sisters when I was in elementary. I just found it scary and didn't care about the plot. All I care about is the spooky scenes at that time. But when I watched it again in high school, it became my favorite movie because I realized it had a much deeper meaning than I thought, and the spooky scenes were just nothing to me because all I felt was pain. I watched it many times and there were no times that I didn't cry. I recommend it, worth it to watch♥️
I wached Goodnight Mommy w my mom when I was 8 or 9 and she fell asleep but the plot was rlly interesting so watched till the end. I don't clearly remember the whole story but i do remember some very disturbing moments. I'll prob watch it again soon to being the trauma back 🥰
Well I've watched two of these movies - A Tale of two sisters and Goodnight Mommy. If you really want spoilers... Both of the movies have the same plot twist. One of the twins (Younger sister in ATOTS and younger brother in Goodnight Mommy) do not exist. They die, and their respective siblings are just hallucinating them. This confusion drives the kids mad to commit some crime against their mother 🏃🏻
I watched the Austrian original of funny games it has this very uncomfortable feeling. I don't know how to describe it. And if you know how Austrians are. It's not Black and white but so much Variants.
I'm pretty sure the plot twist was that Lukas, the twin brother of Elias, was never real, and part of Elias' imagination. It was the 'Lukas' part of his mind that convinced him to set Mother and the house on fire.
The mom wears the mask because she had plastic surgery, she is an actor. The hallucinations have him convinced that that isn’t his real mom and that she is an imposter. Elias accidentally killed (shot) his brother Lukas. which is why the mom is the way she is toward Elias. Lukas is a hallucination over his own guilt after his brother died. After the place catches fire the mother dies after she tried to get Elias to understand what actually happened and he gets angry and pushes her and sets the place on fire and Elias runs out.The reason you see the hug at the end is because Elias is hallucinating both his mom and Lukas.
Pov you watched a horror movie easily and in the ending you see *Based* *On* *A* *True* *Story*
Lol so true like whyyyyyyy they gotta write that.!
