Listened to him on a camping trip recently and he really set the mood for it. We really lucked out with the weather that weekend, even saw some meteors.
I can’t believe he still looks this young, I remember seeing him play at a wedding about 60 years ago and he looked just as youthful as he does in this
I'm gonna be honest, I didn't know this was a real band, I was just watching Joe Cappa videos and suddenly CZcams suggestions blows my mind. Delicate Steve is real, incredible.
I'm glad to see so many other comments of people going through the same experience. I feel like I just crossed over into the Cappaverse, if you will. 😄
Back in the day at my mi-ma's ranch out in Burkeville, Tennessee, before every house had electricity, Delicate Steve was know around town just as "Delicate Stevie". He would play his guitar, all day long, in front of Mr. Brimestone's family market... this had to be 1936-1937.
This guy can ride simple scales with such a sharp technique. I picked up my guitar and was able to play most of these riffs by ear quite simply. Really cool music!
Say more! ❤ would love to know the basis of scales he’s utilizing here. Been playing guitar for years but just finally taking lessons and learning theory.
I know the joke right now is how all of us like delicate Steve and that joke has absolutely nothing to do with a specific animation, but the first two songs are actually awesome

When that meteor passed through Perseus, straight into Dracos Tail, I thought it was gonna hit earth.
Crazy to think we’re just a small spec.
“Here, lemme pack you a little Scooby snack”.
Did I hear somebody say scooby snacks🥸

Drummer: vibing on a chill level.
Me: we got a live one.
Great set guys, stay pure ✌🏾
Love how Steve and his drummer are on a completely different wavelength than the other two in the band. Perfect.
he seems to always roll like that
Gave me a good laugh!
Sativa and indica.
The bassist is a violinist, but she obviously knows her way around most string instruments apparently
Yes they seem excited and engaged and the others are like staring out the window and chewing gum looking at the floor with disdain almost 😂

I love the drummer, he's so into it haha
He's so good! you should see him play a real kit! saw them live and his glasses kept flying off haha he gets even more into it lol
me too as opposed to not loving the bassist for obvious reasons lol
Where has the first song been my entire life?
You should check out this version: /watch?v=Y4SN2UWlo-E

The damn drummer, bringing life to this set! 💗
reverb he's even better live, man destroys a kit

Ugh I love delicate steve so much. So fugging expressive with that guitar.
I love his tone. incredible.
Such an eloquent/succinct guitar player. This is Steve is one of 2017's best albums so far.
The bass lines make this awesome! Just hangin around in the back makin it great!
Anybody able to tell what make/model of bass that is? thanks, if so. Sounds amazing! Can't wait to see Steve & the band the end of this month
This is the definition of joyous music
Here from that shaggy Scooby snax animated video
Delicate steve always keeps me earthed. like 2 words holding me to the ground when i'm off to another planet.

Steve Marion could become my new guitar hero.

It's amazing how Delicate Steve was able to raise three wonderful boys all by himself.

Wow, its not often an artist grabs me in 5 seconds or less, but Mr D Steve did it :)
It’s a bittersweet symphony
Sliding Star! Go Mets!
Really cool Slide guitar instrumentals... Who needs lyrics when all is said like this!
Delicate Steve and the gang, you guys look like you were born for that stage the way you rocked it ❤️ all the love man.
Super sticky!
love what you're doing with the guitar, and your band does an excellent job of accentuating the talking your axe is slinging
This is beautiful
The version of Tomorrow in this set is epic. Absolutely amazing composition.

Who we listening to? Delicate Steve. Delicate Steve? Yeah. I Like it.

There's a part of the second song that sounds like it's borrowing from Mrs. Robinson. "Just a little secret just a Robinson's affair"
I think it’s intentional. He was a guitarist for paul simon for a while.
Look around you all you see are sympathetic eyes
Super sticky
Very nice guitar sir! i like like your sound a lot anyways!
Thanks NPR, you bring good music into our lives
Anyone noticed he is using a coin for a pick?

Legit Delicate Steve?
Heads or tails, though?🤔
I wish that the beginning bass riff on "Tomorrow" would last the entire song. It's goddamn catchy.
Can’t believe how good his is.
Jake Stone I just barely discovered this guy and I can’t get enough! Phenomenal
Je ne connaissais pas ,franchement j'adore!
Was hoping they’d play some of Wondervisions. That album was a huge part of my college years.
Came here from a Joe Cappa video.

Just saw Delicate Steve in Portsmouth, NH last week. Excellent show! Been waiting to see him for a long time.

Joe Cappa is going to have to do their next album cover
Whoa nightlife sounds way different live. Much more country-ish. I dig the two different versions.
very groovy, these guys have the music in em
Saw them (him?) open for Mac DeMarco awhile back, definitely put on a great show
Good stuff!
Nice slide of course..... Shout out to bass and drums!

I wonder if he knows Kanye sampled his song on Yhandi
He uploaded it to his own youtube channel
Never knew Delicate Steve had a Tiny Desk Concert!
