I can’t believe how clean the car and especially the swap is. Using the stock gauges and gated shifter on the inside to using the stock exhaust and even keeping the stock engine cover on it. Not a fan of the swap but I very much appreciate the effort time and money spent on the swap to make it look and function as best it could. Hats off to that guy

@@TeamGeezer I never had the car for sale Cleetus was the only one that seen it and purchased it. It was kind of a joke how it came about. I’m going to work on a video explaining how it all happened and where I’m headed for future content.
Def. one of the coolest swaps ever. I love how the active valves in the exhaust still work. You can add a solenoid to make that automatic or even just a cockpit switch - not sure if the ECU it's using has any spare GPIO's, but if it does, making that active part totally OEM would be the icing on the cake. Such a clean swap. If somebody told me they had a 5.3 Lambo I'd be picturing a salvage chassis with a tweaked frame, interior parts missing, no exhaust, that sorta deal - not this finished project with front lift & shit working. If AC works too that thing is boss status swap. I sure hope somebody from this channel wins it.

I think for this race, there needs to be serious penalties and rules enforced for spinning / wrecking people - ESPECIALLY on the final few laps. A few folks are going to be really emotionally invested in this.

@@cross_fire_ It's already a very unique car. There isn't many manual lambo's left in the world that aren't big $$$ and that this has an LS in it makes it easier to work on and when parts become more readily available easier to fix. An LS is an LS dressed up or not.

Yeah given the choice I’d take the V12 every single time, but I’d imagine the choice for this car was scrap or LS.
That said it’s an SV with all the big wings and spiky bits, I much prefer the original car with the classic diabloesque wheels, old school rear lights, and just a smooth, beautiful body.
I hear you man, the screaming sound of a Lambo V12 is what makes at least 50% of the appeal.
So what happened to the original motor? I guess I assumed it blew up or something. Also figured the car was a wreck repair or something, but not sure now. Be interesting to know its history.

Another option is that someone coulda stole the motor for another project and just thrown something into this car it looks pretty well done too so whoever did it had some skill it doesn’t look like a quick rushed job. Also I’m pretty sure you can’t just go and buy lambo V12 engines as a crate motor so only way to get one would be to take it out of a real Lamborghini.

That Lambo is screaming for an insane FI LS build. I would ironically put the twin Torqstorm LS supercharger kit on this for a while. Then either twin turbos, twin D1-SC or Rotrax superchargers. A Magnacharger or Whipple would be too obvious.

@@brunothinkshecan7305 I'm pretty sure that the Viper V-10 is its own animal. Lamborghini had some input in the design of it back in the early days of it, but that was it. The current V-10 the Lamborghini uses (and the one they've been using since the Gallardo) is made by Audi, because they've owned them since that generation of cars. The V-10 from the Viper might not even fit in that engine bay due to how friggin big it is.

Yeah the other engine was probably blown or something. They are VERY expensive to replace. Everything is hand made in Italy.
