- After seeing some great reviews about it- We bought Toshiba M550 QLED 55 inch QLED TV for our main room to replace our 2 year old 55 Inch Smart TV.
In this video, we will unbox Toshiba QLED M550 TV and share an unbiased review review, courtesy my husband who is pretty much technical when it comes to gadgets.

Update:
I could fix the saturation issue by various ways -
Go to settings, change the picture mode into cinema or moviemaker mode.
And if you are watching sports or other general content then I choose Natural.
The default picture setting is DYNAMIC which has some colors like orange, red are super saturated.
You can also choose calibration mode and manually adjust specific colors for level and saturation.

Hi, thanks for the honest review. I plan to buy the 65 inch M550 Toshiba but was a little concerned after I saw a CZcamsr stating that refresh rate (variable) is only from 48-60 Hz. Will not watching car racing or action movies for example be laggy due to this lower refresh rate than say a SONY or a SAMSUNG with 120 Hz refresh rate? These 2 are more expensive. Your comments please.........

Installation next day aagaye the. Far Field Voice activate karna nahi aaaya to engineer agle din aagaya thaa. Feedback call ek week ke baad aaya tha.

Was that an open box delivery by FK? Was the warranty still valid after you opened it yourself? Thank you..
This was Amazon who delivered it sealed n packed. The deal was to open the box in front of us and then share OTP to confirm no damages during delivery. I was out hence I had no choice but to share the OTP and let the TV be delivered. For evidence, my wife kept recording just in case of any damages when I opened the box myself. As expected, the TV was safely delivered.
What is the separation (width) between the legs of the tv?

I am using this TV and I am seeing slight blooming effect when the scene is in black. Have you experianced the same?
No blooming as much as I have observed. I will do a blooming effect test later today and respond back.

@@gopinath4119 i did a thorough test and found that there is a slight , very negligible blooming which can be seen if you go very close to the tv but it's fine or hardly noticeable when watched from the regular distance. Knowing it's QLED with IPS panel, they are not meant to illuminate light n colors individually instead a massive backlight hence that slight blooming. If your tv has too much blooming then contact the seller.

Agar aap ko LG pasand hai toh woh aapki choice hai.
Main brand se jyada hardware mein dhyan deta hoon.
LG ki sabse badi Problem ye hai ki iss main Bezzle bahut Motte hote hai....jab ki aaj kal thin Bezzle ka jamaana hai..

ONE OF THEM IS LYING FOR SURE.
None of them are lying... They possibly have their own standard or reviewing units. I would suggest try one at store or else buy online and return if not happy

I returned this TV after 10 days because foggy screen, no black colour production, bad colours.
Consequences :-
1. Bad colours. Seems to be fake.
Main issue is with black colour production. TV doesn't have black. Even I have other low cost IPS display which is clear, sharper and good black production than this TV.
Forget about night scene, many day scenes also looks bad on this TV.
2. Foggy screen, seems like white layer is on the screen. I tried to change settings but nothing happened.. View from side angle is bad.
Lots of blooming effect.
3. Fast moving objects are not consistent or smooth. Seems to be laggy. Lots of motion blurr.
4. Clarity or Sharpness of picture is not there. Even text shown on TV seems to be little blurr.
5. Quantum dot technology is useless and in full white screen you can see Screen with big white /black dots. Not entirely white.
6. Rubber pad attached to legs of TV have bad glue as it can easily fall from legs. And rubber pads are also very small.
7. Service is poor, infact no service at all even in city like Mumbai. So can't even imagine the service in other parts of India.
Pros:
1. Sound is good.
2. Legs of TV are made up of metal. For some it can be negative point as plastic legs are light weight and good.
TV has very thin borders/bezel so 55" TV looks small in size.
TV clarity can't be even compared with 4-5 year old iffalcon 55" TV.
Those who have bought this TV for first time may not understand the issues. But if you have 2 TVs side by side then you can easily understand lots of issues this TV is having.
Who the hell is comparing this with sony, Samsung, LG... Saste TV se bhi nahi compare hoga.
TV body is of plastic, not of metal... All youtubers say that its metal.. So you can imagine how true reviews they are giving.
It's possible that even brands like Sony may have quality issues, although it's rare but it's true. Similarly you have been one of those unlucky customer. Therefore there is no company that has the perfect track record of manufacturing product with zero defects.
Bad luck, get another TV of your choice.

DOLBY VISION SETTINGS
It's by default. Lot of content in Disney hotstar and Netflix that supports DOLBY vision
My biggest mistake of purchasing this can never be forgotten.. High blooming effect and Dark scenes on HDR content doesn't look like that grt.
turn off local dimming , increase backlight
