    here in malaysia we have M550MP.
    im not sure about the 120hz but I THINK what is actually happening is that the panel itself IS 120hz. But, the HDMI 2.1 ports is not. EVEN THOUGH by right HDMI 2.1 should support 4k 120HZ, all the hdmi ports labelled 4k 60HZ only so ended up when im gaming to the tv, its basically 60hz, even dropping resolution does not help. Feels cheated lol. I guess i have to try the steam link feature later see if play wirelessly to the tv, will it do above 60hz in game.

    What are the best picture and motion processing settings? My motion processing whether set to on or off always looks bad especially with hdr content. It is mostly with motion around people's movements. Their hands and feet have pixelations around them during movement or gets jittery. Even quickly scrolling through Netflix titles for example will start to jitter the images, doesn't stay in clear motion.

    • @ericviola8659
      @ericviola8659 Před 2 lety +7

      figured it out. Have to do a firmware update , and then set the motion processing to "film" setting. Everytime the tv turns off, the setting will get reset even though it shows film still checked. You have to select a different setting, then put it back to film after every TV turn on. Hope this helps someone

    • @ericviola8659
      @ericviola8659 Před rokem +1

      @@gsanjaik most I figured out was to do a firmware update to help fix the motion processing issue. I found only switching to "film" mode took care of the pixelation. The other modes did not. Everytime you shut the tv off it will reset the motion processing setting back to a pixelated one again. You have to re-select "film" after every start up or reset. All my other settings such and edge sharpening ect are different based upon the video source. I noticed each type of film had it own settings. For example a hdr 10 movie would have its own settings since it's in hdr 10. When I go to say a regular HD movie I notice the settings tv picture settings were different from what I just set. I think I have found 3 or 4 of them you have to change. There's Dolby, Dolby hdr, hdr 10, and regular content. Idk it's kinda silly they do it that way. But I did notice some universal settings do not play well on each source. Image enhancement makes dark scenes look super grainy in hdr 10 but makes regular HD stuff look a lot sharper without film grain ect ect. You get what you pay for in this case lol.
