I love the tranquility of the Yukon. Thanks for this video

It's so relaxed out there. I kind of miss Yukon sometimes. I like the dirt, and the smell of the trees, there's a feeling of purity. Plus everyone is nice.

That was good. Thank you. It is a lot bigger than it was in 1975. I lived in Lower Post for a year. Gravel, winding road to about a mile east of Watson. Then lovely pavement. Grocery shopping at Campground Services then a "Tequila sunrise" at the Belvedere or a "Slow comfortable screw against the wall" at the Watson lake Hotel.(someone had to order it for me as I was too shy" Some of the crew would get drunk (not me of course) and play "house of the rising sun" on the piano while we all sang along. It was a great time and a great town.

3:25 That's the former Belvedere on the left. The thing with the castle ramparts. Was called "Andrea's Hotel" at that point. I worked at there in 2012 while the dude who owned the hotel was putting up the siding.
3:44 On the left. You can barely see the "Dragon's Den" sign if you look really hard. I designed that sign, again back in 2012. Grabbed some random Chinese dragon off the internet and printed out the template that they used to make that.
Worked at both "Andrea's Hotel" and "Dragon's Den" - damn I hate that name - and I gotta say if the dude who owned both - thanks to the famous Archie of the Yukon - still owns 'em: avoid at all costs. I know they are two of the three in town, but go Big Horn if you can.
Though the staff at both places, largely Filipino in my 9mos there, are awesome give 'em a high five from me... like tell 'em my name and see if they remember me.
