Old Model 3.6V Screwdriver Restoration | National EZ7410

- I bought this screwdriver from Japan recycle shop. I didn't know it works or not while buying. This screwdriver is made in Japan by National. It looks exactly like the Panasonic 3.6V screwdriver on the market today. In this video you will see how I charge this battery, how to clean it and how to put new grease in its gearbox. It looks simple, but there are a lot of parts inside the gearbox.
I hope you find this video useful and enjoy it!
Furthermore, I am happy to receive feedback, suggestions to improve myself.
!!! I'm sorry for the mistake if I did in this video !!!
Thank you very much for your likes, comments, and subscription!
Have a nice day

Thank you very much for showing the mistake, and how you fixed it. It is very important to show that sometimes things go wrong, and you can go back and correct them.

The fact that you completely tear things like this down to clean them and regrease them and then reassemble them correctly blows me away. Just incredible work!
That is an art...
Your videos are so interesting. I cannot push myself to stop watching :)
Вы мастер. Спасибо за видео 🙂.
This fellow is amazing, does really good work. Its beyond my capability. If I had seen things like this earlier, I would have tried to fix ny Dad’s old 1950’s reciprocating saw. Had bad brushes (didn’t know that at the time 20 years ago), so I threw it out & bought a new one.
I'm so glad to hear that, thank you so much!
Dhhs
Master of electric tools! Nice job! Thanks for video.
You're welcome, thank you for coming again!
What an awesome job restoring the battery-operated screwdriver to working order. Great work.
I personally learn from you
thank you for all
You're welcome! I'm glad you learn something.
what a great job, you did it with great patience and thoroughness.. 👍👍👍💪
16:33 Подумал, что он сейчас совместит эту отвёртку с этим аккумом. 😱🤣
это было бы безумием!
:D
I think I’ve realized why I like these videos. I can watch one and feel like I’ve done my cleaning for the day. Haha
And I love your work
I don't think even the brand's own technician would be able to disassemble and reassemble without the manual 👏👏👏
Thank you for this comment.
@@gear_show you're welcome

That's incredibly ironic that this video came out right before I had to repair my hitachi db3dl that have almost same case and I thought that it will be good to turn something on CZcams for background noise, but instead this video actually helped me not to break my screwdriver.
Wow, I'm so glad to heard that. Thank you!
So satisfying, well done👌
Thank you! 😊
Each to their own but that did look impressive 👍
Fantastic job, it looks and works like new! It is so frustrating to have to disassemble something complicated more than once because of an incorrect assembly sequence. I've done that more times than I care to remember!
Thank you for sharing! I'm glad you like this video.
Very nice ❤🎉🎉❤

Yes, it is easy to use too.
Brilliant tool. My EZ7410 is now over 20 years old and still works like new. It has a yellow body, as was the color of Panasonic cordless tools were back then. Thanks for posting this restoration.

Great Video master like all other videos.
What is this motor's current value "not need buy a new motor" at 3,7 volt ? 1 Ampere ?(I mean at 08:44 test)
Second question :Have any polishing material for plastic covers polishing "like new"?
Could you advise a product names ,method or a product link for this ?
With what did u clean the plastic? Amazing video like always!
> It looks exactly like the Panasonic
You are right.
"National" used to be a bland name of Matsushita Electric Industry.
The company name and the bland were changed to "Panasonic" in 2008.
احسنت العمل
Thank for coming back!
Amazing repair again. I want to see that big lithium battery repair (end of the video).😁
Great suggestion! Thank you!
Love from Kerala ❤️❤️
Same to you
Same to you
Thank you!
Same to you
Sangat simple obeng crodles
Ya, itu sederhana dan mudah digunakan.
It always start out as a light saber and ends up as a screw driver 😁😁
Ok, the two-wire thingy going into the handle was the light. That's clear.
But what is the three-wire sensor (or whatever it is) in the front for?
It seems to be a speed encoder sensor. Maybe it's part of a safety system in case of a output shaft stall.
It detects when the torque clutch slips and stops the motor, so you don't hear the annoying "tatatatata"
Yeah, that one will be working for a long, long time!

La verdad quisiera saber que tipo de trabajo o carrera llevo para tener tan buena capacidad
what you wash it in 6:30? Which 12v cordless screwdriver would you recommend for an amateur? great job 👍
Please make a video related to workshop
There's just something so ironic about having to use a screwdriver to open your screwdriver. Like having to cut open the clamshell wrap to open a pair of scissors.
mmm that battery look nice
Yes,
@@gear_show the rust give you more power
Hey Brother. I like your work. very good job. I have one question for you. what did you use for wash the plastic parts? Thanks for your answer.
Sir can we use adjustable speed switch in single speed Hitachi VTP -18 impact hammer drill??
Just single to variable speed only
By changing switch is it possible
Круто!
Благодарю вас!
我也有一把松下的6225被我改成了18650电池可以换的
好的
National is like the predecessor of Panasonic, if memory serves me right...
It's the same company, but they had to change the name to "Panasonic" in North America because the name "National" was already registered as a brand. Here in Scandinavia they were branded "National-Panasonic" for many years, until they decided to skip "National" and only keep "Panasonic" due to greater worldwide recognition of the "Panasonic" brand.
Iguess your super well talanetd and really clever, great stuff but you surly must still take photo's of each step when removing each parts ? I wwould forget where anything goes otherwise
عمل جيد
شكرا
