Is it normal to watch your videos now that I’ve finally discovered you for over a week, NON STOP? You’re amazing and so are your videos. Thanks for your dedication to the channel! I’ve always loved skincare but you teach in such an approachable way, easy to understand and relate! Love everything about your channel!
BLESS YOUUUUU. I needed this. I didn't start using skincare of any kind, including sunscreen, until later in life so I'm concerned that I'm condemned to a life of wrinkles and age spots.
Even if you had wrinkles, that doesn't make you any less valuable or lovable than a person with smooth skin.💕 I wish society would promote more often how we are so much more than just our appearance. More gratitude for simply being alive and healthy☀️
You won’t be alone! I’m 35 and it seems every product I put on my skin gives me a rash, contact dermatitis, or acne; sunscreen included (oh and I am a ginger...so I am screwed).
@Tina Bartolomucci I struggle with sensitive skin and occasional allergic or irritant contact dermatitis. I’m Fitzpatrick Phototype II. Game changers for me are using Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser, zero fragrance or essential oils in my skin care products, minimal actives, and mineral sunscreen only (no chemical filters). I also can’t tolerate Niacinamide or Urea. Last year, I did patch testing with a dermatologist that specializes in allergies and found out there are 10 ingredients I’m truly allergic to (e.g. preservatives Methylisothiazolinone & Methylchloroisothiazolinone, fragrances Linalool & Limonene, Carvone which is naturally occurring in many essential oils, Benzoyl Peroxide, Cobalt which is often a green tint in cosmetics & skin care to cover up redness, Nickel, Gallates, and Shellac). So I read labels carefully and avoid all of them.
I used to see your videos recommended to me but always skipped them until I decided to randomly watch one two weeks ago and now I’m hooked. I just turned 30 yesterday and in my twenties I took care care of my skin minus the sunscreen. I want to age well and I’ve incorporated retinol and sunscreen thanks to your advice. It’s refreshing to hear advice from a professional who has the experience and knows what they are talking about.
I’m 34 and look like I’m 25. I was blessed with good genes because I can tell you that I had zero skincare routine....now I’m getting a bit of pigmentation (not severe) so I’ve just started with a proper skincare routine thanks to your videos!!!! Had sunscreen...I’m embarrassed to say that I haven’t worn any in my entire life and just started last month (I’ve been lucky I tell you....)

@@jenniferosea for me adding retinol, aha peeling once a week, salicylic acid few times a week, and intensive moisturising was a deal breaker. I had to drop all these aggressive SALS cleansers and to throw out perfumed products 😕 and of course, lots of sunscreen. Unfortunately, I completely neglected that one all my life. My pores were like moon craters, and then I found out about retinol. Before these changes I was using a soup as the main cleanser and couldn't understand, why does my skin look like I was exposed to an opened nuclear reactor 😅
Olga Rykanova Thank you so much! 🙏🏽 I’ve also dropped everything I was using and went fragrance free. Just been using Cerave products and Squalane oil. So retinol really helped your pores?
1. AHA / PHA Acid 2. Moisturizer 3. Sunscreen 4. Lifestyle changes 5. Retinol / Differin 6. Reduce stress 7. Acne - go to a dermatologist, don't try to DIY 8. Switch to a gentler cleanser 9. Reduce frequency of cleansing to once a day in the evening (if prone to irritation) 10. Minimize skincare products used 11. Rosacea - go to a dermatologist, reduce spicy foods, hot drinks, stick to products with minimal ingredients 12. Hyperpigmentation - sun protection, visible light (blue light) mostly from sun can cause early onset and stubborn pigmentation. Use SPF with zinc or iron oxide / sun protective clothing / use a retinoid

Before I took skincare seriously I had terrible skin I had acne and dry and irritation due to using an electric shaver. My skin has never been so good and I love the texture too. Do I have perfect skin no but no one does . Skin care is self care
“A lot of my audience... is already in their 30s” - yup. I wish I appreciated how (relatively) good my skin was in my 20s... my skin is definitely drier and more irritable now than when I was younger. Thankfully, Dr. Dray is around! P.S. sometimes I get too excited with AHAs but if I use them every night for a few days my skin goes from nice radiant to dry. Got to be careful! And thank you for mentioning volume loss! The loss around my temples is most noticeable.
I’m 36 and my skin has changed so much in the past few years. It’s so much more dry and I have noticed volume loss too. I can’t use many AHA’s they just dry me out even worse. The ordinary 20% 2% aha bha works great on my feet though! They feel just as soft as if I went and got a pedicure!
historyrepeating I read, I think it was Caroline Hirons, say about exfoliating use you age as a guide (there are always exceptions). Twice a week in your twenties, three times a week in your thirties, four times a week in your forties, and bump up to every night in your fifties. So maybe you’re just exfoliating too frequently for your skin, or try a milder exfoliating product?
Basically you described everything I’m going through right now! 😭 I trust that gentle products, niacinamide, moisturizer, retinol and spf will help me! 🤞🏻

Your skin will recover with consistant care and breast feeding gives any infant the best chance of health due to all the antibodies/nutrients you were able to pass on. All the interupted sleep, stress and having no time for yourself will give the appearance of aging, more than the lack of a retinoid. Once you start back on a good routine with/or without a retinoid you should see real benefit, as hopefully you're getting more sleep now too. Best wishes.
I'm 33. And i can proudly say that my skin is much better than anyone around or younger than me. I started to exfoliate every week. Wear mask every 2 or 3 days especially one that can boost hydration. Sunscreen is MUST! Use retinol. I dont smoke. And workout 3 or 4 times a week.. in fact i feel way more stronger than in my 20s.

Seriously within 3 months of turning 30, I went from clear skin (which Ive had for 5 years) to the worst skin of my life. I had to completely change my skin care routine. Thanks to you and my dermatologist, my skin is getting back to normal.
I finally started a skin care routine a few months after my 30th birthday not with the intention of anti aging because that to me an obvious marketing technique used to get people to buy their products. I started because I just was not happy with the way that skin on my face was feeling and looking my dark circles were insane and my pores were huge! I really respect that you don't push overpriced and unnecessary products down our throats. So far, all of the recommened products that I've tried from your videos have been great! You're a true gem. I wish you continued success.
I’ve been wearing sunscreen since my 20s. I’m at a point where I feel like I have sinned if I happen to walk out the house with out it 🤣 with that being said WEAR YOUR DAMN SUNSCREEN FOLKS!!!
Me too, I feel „naked“ and stressed 😅
Girl! Same!
I feel like I have sinned when I'm near a window and not wearing sunscreen. Sometimes when I'm not going outside I like to give my skin a break and not put sunscreen on, but then I'd be sitting with my back to the windows or have all the curtains and blinds down
This reminds me of the sunscreen song from the 90s. I never forget sunscreen anymore. Just maybe not reapplying it as soon as I should!!
Losshe me too!
thank u miss dray, I'm almost 30 and it is ON 😡 gonna show dis skin who's boss

It's Doctor Dray, as in studied and studied and studied and worked and sacrificed and earned that abbrev. Please show some respect and use it.
I get called "Miss" often, and its usually a veiled put down... Sort of like being dismissive of equality.. which is what it looks like is happening here.
Please correct yourself and respect Dr Dray for her expertise and credibility.

Where are my gurls in their 30s?! Woop woop!🙋🏽♀️
My 5yo cat just developed acne😩
I wish there was a Dr Dray for kitties😅
Funnily, I’ve been enjoying doing her skincare and I did, in fact, apply some salicylic acid 2%. Curiously, I have to disinfect the skin with clorhexidine...
Unfortunately our four logged friends sometimes are prone to acne :( Our poor babies. If the actual e is on the chin, sometimes it helps if you switch their eating bowl to a ceramic or glass ones, since cats can sometimes develop skin allergy to plastic. Hope this helps :) All the best, keep safe and keep stro g :))
Fatima Sampaio I know. It was just bc I had to give her CBD, and since it’s an oil, the pores from one cheek got clogged.
All her bowls are ceramic :)

Is it normal to watch your videos now that I’ve finally discovered you for over a week, NON STOP? You’re amazing and so are your videos. Thanks for your dedication to the channel! I’ve always loved skincare but you teach in such an approachable way, easy to understand and relate! Love everything about your channel!
wish I knew about you in my 20's, I wouldn't have abused my skin so much. And I would've worn sunscreen religiously 😅
BLESS YOUUUUU. I needed this. I didn't start using skincare of any kind, including sunscreen, until later in life so I'm concerned that I'm condemned to a life of wrinkles and age spots.
thanks for watching!
Even if you had wrinkles, that doesn't make you any less valuable or lovable than a person with smooth skin.💕 I wish society would promote more often how we are so much more than just our appearance. More gratitude for simply being alive and healthy☀️
@@haileynichelle8343 Thank you for this ❤
You won’t be alone!
Its official Dr. Dray is a real life psychic, she always posts just what im looking for. Loved this information and i shared with everyone ❤
It’s refreshing to hear advice from a professional who has the experience and knows what they are talking about.
thanks for watching
I’m 34 and look like I’m 25. I was blessed with good genes because I can tell you that I had zero skincare routine....now I’m getting a bit of pigmentation (not severe) so I’ve just started with a proper skincare routine thanks to your videos!!!! Had sunscreen...I’m embarrassed to say that I haven’t worn any in my entire life and just started last month (I’ve been lucky I tell you....)
Yep! Early 30’s here. I just started using salicylic acid in my routine and using sunscreen religiously. Thank you!
I am 26, discovered Dr Dray few weeks ago. She transformed my poor irritated red skin into a glowing marble 😊 thank you, Dr Dray, you're our treasure ❤️
So lucky!
So amazing!! What products are you using now? 😊
@@Atman81 together we can do it ❤️
Olga Rykanova Thank you so much! 🙏🏽 I’ve also dropped everything I was using and went fragrance free. Just been using Cerave products and Squalane oil. So retinol really helped your pores?

@@marizzy63 happy Tuesday 😊 🥰😘💕
@Bella_ Trixie Dr Dray's got a couple videos on skin tags.
1. AHA / PHA Acid
2. Moisturizer
3. Sunscreen
4. Lifestyle changes
5. Retinol / Differin
6. Reduce stress
7. Acne - go to a dermatologist, don't try to DIY
8. Switch to a gentler cleanser
9. Reduce frequency of cleansing to once a day in the evening (if prone to irritation)
10. Minimize skincare products used
11. Rosacea - go to a dermatologist, reduce spicy foods, hot drinks, stick to products with minimal ingredients
12. Hyperpigmentation - sun protection, visible light (blue light) mostly from sun can cause early onset and stubborn pigmentation. Use SPF with zinc or iron oxide / sun protective clothing / use a retinoid
Thank you
As a 32-year old, I appreciate this. I'm at the annoying age where I'm oily, get hormonal acne, and have the first signs of fine lines and wrinkles.
Thank you so much for this video! I've been wanting to take better care of my skin since my early 20s, but I felt like dermatologists would laugh at me because I hadn't started aging yet. I'm now in my thirties and I'm so happy to find your channel because the damage is already started and I can't wait to start preventing and reducing it going forward.

Dr Dray! You should do a video that discusses when / why to go to the derm for a skin check!!! I'm 34 and very pale - you are the reason I finally went to have a suspicious spot looked at! It took months to get an appointment, but it was important - they removed the spot. Thank you for being you!
Me in my 20s and a guy who:
washes face twice a day
Uses a vitamin c Serum day & night
Uses both the ordinarys caffeine & Niacinamide serums
Uses a simple lightweight moisturise
SPF 30 all day everyday
I also exfoliate once a week with the ordinarys 30% peeling solution, uses a retinol serum at night.
Before I took skincare seriously I had terrible skin I had acne and dry and irritation due to using an electric shaver. My skin has never been so good and I love the texture too. Do I have perfect skin no but no one does . Skin care is self care
Since I have been 29 for MANY years, I am loving this video ;)
B Mackenzie I have sensitive skin also and just started using paulas choice 2% bha. They also do a 1% if you’re really sensitive!
historyrepeating I read, I think it was Caroline Hirons, say about exfoliating use you age as a guide (there are always exceptions). Twice a week in your twenties, three times a week in your thirties, four times a week in your forties, and bump up to every night in your fifties. So maybe you’re just exfoliating too frequently for your skin, or try a milder exfoliating product?
@@bmackenzie2740, stay away from glycolic acid. Mandelic acid is super gentle and try checking it out.
@@deadlifts_steaks. ok thanks. I’ve never tried mandalic acid. I’ve used the pixi glow tonic and didn’t care for it

Thanks for making this video! I'm almost 31 and have only been developing a skincare regimen for the past year or so. It can be overwhelming and intimidating watching videos talking about peels, acids and all the things! I've learned so much watching your channel, it's a public service!
Happy 900K+ Andrea! I am so proud of you! I started following you when you have like 50K+ subscribers and I am so happy that your channel has grown so much over the years!

Just got don’t breastfeeding after 2 years and I’m sooooo excited to start a retinol or AHA. Over 3 years of limited skincare and new mom life has AGED ME HORRIBLY lol
Zaib Aslam thank you!!! It means a lot!! :)
I’m 32 and I started using adapalene and sunscreen daily since I started watching your channel - thank you soooo much for all of the great advice 🙏🙏🙏
Will you do 40s next? ☺️

That would be supeeer! :)
I've become that friend who constantly reminds others to apply sunscreen hehe... you're one of the skincare/top influencers of my life ❤️❤️❤️ Thanks Dr Dray

Thank you!! I turned 30 a year ago and this is when I started thinking about my skin care more seriously. Very helpful video!
*I would LOVE a video on anti aging for the body/neck down! Moisturizers, topicals that can give the same or good results like retin-a does for your face! Is there such a thing that you would recommend?*
Love your cardigan btw, super pretty! The colors suit you so well!🙂
Seriously within 3 months of turning 30, I went from clear skin (which Ive had for 5 years) to the worst skin of my life. I had to completely change my skin care routine. Thanks to you and my dermatologist, my skin is getting back to normal.
I would love to see skincare in your 20's also!
I finally started a skin care routine a few months after my 30th birthday not with the intention of anti aging because that to me an obvious marketing technique used to get people to buy their products. I started because I just was not happy with the way that skin on my face was feeling and looking my dark circles were insane and my pores were huge! Makeup even looks better now that I have a skin care routine!
Omg I’m so early! Hey Dr. Dray! Honestly, the most important thing I’ve done as I’ve now hit my twenties is wearing sunscreen, and applying correct amounts of it.
Sunscreen is key!
I cannot tell you how critical this is!! I actually had a basal cell when I was 22 - I started wearing minimum 40 sunscreen daily and am now 38 with amazing results. Keep it up!
Your videos gets better and better, you've really found your format lately! Enjoyed!! ❤️

I’ve been getting very serious of my skin for the past 2+ years after discovering your channel. And let me tell you, my skin has been the best it’s been in my whole life!!!
I have actually found my face is less red in my 30's. It was pretty bad in my teens to mid twenties. I'm also more careful now with what I put on my skin, which is likely why and not age.
Im 32 and have been doing most of these things consistently and have seen a huge difference in my skin! It’s a lot more supple, glowy, and clear/healthy looking than it used to be even in my teens and 20s! Dr. Dray is right about these tips. They def help
